First Sight

It's my brother Vian's birthday, he will turn 10 today. Papa will be hear in couple of hours. But Mom seems tensed what happend to her. Why is the truck waiting outside my house. Who all these men are? looks like labours! What's going on here? Why are these men picking up furniture? Mean while Mom says: "Dear now you have grown you are 14 now. you are a grown up girl, you must take care of Vian and your youngest brother Chuck. I know you can do very well. I am going and I won't come back for now."

I was just fourteen years old. Never thought would be left alone with such a huge responsibility of my own younger brothers. Vian was in 5th grade, Chuck was in 2nd grade. I was in 8th grade, but I took all the responsibilities, keeping aside my all priorities. I started preparing breakfast for my brothers. Then coming back from school I had to cook Lunch, after few days I observed I can cook only ones a day in more amount, so it won't have to give much efforts for cooking thrice. Chuck was never able to bath his own. I have to make him do so. Aaaarghhh!! so many instructions and orders I had to give at a time to him. Vian sometimes helped me in cooking, cleaning and washing dishes. Sometimes his friends used to help me.

We used to fight alot, for silly things like remote, channels, series, games. Papa kept supporting me after his duty timings. My marks in every subject kept coming down. I was going low in my studies. By time, Vian and Chuck got distracted from studies.

Then the life begins..

Few years passed I am Eighteen, I started my part time job, as assistant teacher in a school in another city. A kid passes me and says " Good morning Kiara Miss!".

I was struggling with my stuffs fell from my hand when the kid ran through me. Two hands with an attractive wrist watch, picking up my books and project files. The moment I tried watching him "Thanks" I expressed. Shiny soft bangs on his forehead, Light brown skin, flat eyes, smiling a bit with softness in his heart. "Let me, help you with the stuffs" asked him. But I shouldn't take any help from a stranger, actually a considerable, good looking stranger. "It's ok, I can handle this" replied Kiara. "You sure?" he entreated. "Ya, I'm fine, thanks" Kiara replied.

Next day while going to work on the way to school, Kiara hears sound of few steps following her. But afraid to turn back. "You ?" Kiara stoutly turned back. Whom she sees?

"Yea, It's me, who else it could be? you silly." Said Vian. "I forgot you were coming today. But, why do you have to follow me stupidly, you fool, you could have called me!" Kiara scolded.

"I was trying to find out, that you found a boyfriend or not? you ducklin" inverted Vian.
