Chapter 14

Pov of krish:

I knocked on the door. When I heard a 'come in ' I went inside. I was facing his back.

" Welcome my dear grandson " he greeted me.

Of course it's no surprise to me that he knew who entered the room without even looking at me.

" I need your help, old man," I said bluntly.

" You brat , first learn to respect your elders" he said, earning an eye roll from me.

" You....."

He started , I sighed.

" Okay , grandpa, I'm in trouble, please help me". I said.

He smiled proudly and motioned me to sit in the chair. And I did.

" Now tell me what happened? " He asked me.

I told him everything.

" You brat , how could you be so careless , I regret my decision now, I should not have made you Phoenix's leader . " He said glaring at me .

I just sat silent while looking straight at him. Suddenly something struck me and I was in deep thought.

" What are you thinking?" He asked me .

" Something's off grandpa. My place is highly secured. No one could enter easily . But how could they manage to invade my place? And not only that , the secret chamber was opened too. I don't know where I am missing. Plus why they took my blossom . " I said losing my shit.

" Maybe that's what they want. Making you lose your shit . They wanted to take that girl because they knew she was dear to you. Krish first pull yourself together and think with a straight mind. " He said.

I sighed and nodded agreeing with him.

That's when I got it .

" A rat , a fucking rat. Someone betrayed me" I yelled and slammed my hands on the table.

" Brat, haven't I told you to calm down? " he raised his voice at me.

But I lost it and bursted into tears.

" I can't , I can't lose Keira, how could I be so careless. " I cried.

Grandpa hugged me and I hugged him back.

" Hmmm relax Bud. I trust you . You can handle this and I am sure you will save your girl" he comforted me.

I calmed down and we went to our base. On the way to the base , we dropped by the hospital to check up on my members.

In the hospital:

Krish and his grandfather entered the hospital and saw Chelsea there.

"Chelsea" krish called her.

"How are you?" He asked .

" I am fine boss " she said. When she looked at Bernardo Leon Raizadha , her eyes widened , suddenly she kneeled down and bowed her head showing respect to him.

" Get up child " grandpa said.

"What about Nicolas, Abraham and molly?" I said ,whispering the last name.

" Nic and Abraham are fine , Molly is out of danger but still unconscious" she said .

Krish sighed in relief. Suddenly Chelsea started to cry and Krish frowned.

" I am sorry krish , I wasn't able to save Keira . " She said while crying.

" Hey don't cry, it's not your fault " krish said.

"krish said that the secret chamber was opened , tell us what exactly happened dear" grandpa said.

Chelsea explained everything that happened to them.

" That's impossible, no one can open the secret chamber other than us , then how did they reach Keira ? "Krish said, confused.

" Someone inside the house helped them to take Keira , brat . And you have to find who that rat is?" Grandpa said .

" I know grandpa . Chelsea who were at home when the attack happened?" Krish asked her.

" Keira, me , nic , Abraham and...peter" chelsea said.

"Peter?????" I said .

"Yes boss ."

"Do you suspect that Peter krish?" Grandpa .

" Yes grandpa. Because when I reached home Peter came out of nowhere unharmed and handed me a letter with the scorpion symbol saying that he got it in Keira's room, but according to what Chelsea said they must have taken Keira from the secret chamber. But Peter did not know the code, how did he..." Before Krish could complete his sentence , Chelsea interrupted him.

" I told him" Chelsea said, sobbing. Krish was surprised.

" But why?" He asked her .

"When I left Keira , I found Peter crying in the corner of the stairs. So I thought I should save him, that is why I told him the code. I never knew he was a traitor ." She said while sobbing.

I clenched my fist.

" That fucker , I am gonna kill him " I yelled.

Wait a minute

" So Molly wasn't home right ? " I asked while frowning.

" Yes but I found her shot in the corridor in front of the secret chamber." Chelsea said .

" Molly can only answer the question," I said .

Suddenly Jin came running to us. He gulped when he saw my grandfather and bowed.

" What happened ?" I asked him as he was acting extremely tense.

"Molly ..." He said.

"What happened to Molly ?" I growled and grabbed his collar .

" Molly is awake and she wants to meet Mr . Bernardo Leon Raizadha" he said, leaving me shocked.

" And she also wants to meet you , krish " he said .
