Chapter 8

Author's pov:

"Put this jacket on, we don't want anyone to look at your sinful body" Chelsea mocked her best friend who stuck her tongue out.

"if i wasn't straight, i would go for you." Hema said.

"if i was to stay single and you'd ask me out, i would still be single." Keira rolled her eyes and Hema chuckled.

"We need to go to Nicolas, he'll give you an earpiece where you can communicate with krish. He tells you what you have to do. oh and he will also install a camera so that he can see everything that happens." Hema explained and Keira nodded.

Suddenly she was feeling really giddy. Not because of the 'job' she has to do, but about the adventurous side this mission brings with it.

*After being forced by krish to not go out , why not try something new? *Keira thought.

"Try to cover the earpiece a little with your hair." Nicolas said and Keira nodded, pulling strains of her now curly hair to cover the black earpiece.

"Take these glasses." Nicolas said, handing keira round glasses.

"glasses? how am i supposed to seduce him with them." Keira asked dumbfounded.

Nicolas grinned.

"Justin loves when innocence turns to sensuality... it's a kink of him. The camera is installed on the glasses." Nicolas said.

Keira scrunched her nose in disgust. She put the glasses on and Nicolas tried them out and smiled triumphantly when he could see himself on the monitor of his computer.

"you're ready, Thomas and Abraham will join the mission, krish is there too." Nicolas said while smiling .

"By the way, curly hair suits you." Nicolas said and Keira blushed and giggled lightly.

"Thank you." She thanked him for the compliment.

Hema then came into the room and smiled at keira.

"They are ready and waiting for you." Hema informed her.

Keira and hema walked downstairs, where Thomas, Abraham and Krish were already waiting.

"I am gonna check if there are enough bullets in the car." Abraham said, walking off.

And the moment when Keira and hema walked through the door, krish's breath hitched.

Krish was definitely staring at Keira . Curly hair, cute makeup, long, tanned legs peeking out of a black coat that she was wearing. Krish didn't even want to imagine what Keira was wearing underneath the coat.

And suddenly he hated the idea of Keira doing this job.

Nonetheless, he would never cancel a mission.

Keira saw Krish staring at her and looked quickly away, not knowing why she blushed.

"Sweet cake, are you ready ?" Thomas asked his sister , who nodded with a light smile.

She didn't want to look up to Krish, which annoys the older one, but he didn't say anything.

"good luck." Hema hugged Keira and pecked her cheek.

"you will get it, baby." She whispered and Keira nodded, responding to Hema's smile with her own.

Hema then looked to krish, who was still eye fucking Keira.

"Brother." Hema snapped him out of his stare.

"hmm?" Krish hummed.

Hema chuckled and leaned forward.

"We all know Keira looks irresistible, but stay concentrated Brother" hema said teasing krish.

Krish stared bewilderedly at hema , before realizing what the younger means and he quickly shook his head.

"I don't know what you mean, she looks as usual." Krish said.

Thomas chuckled, trying to hold a wheeze back.

"yeah yeah, whatever floats your boat krish." Thomas said.

Krish glared at him and hema had a teasing smile on her lips.

They were sitting in the car, Krish on the passenger seat, Abraham on the driver's seat and Keira and Thomas on the back seats.

As they continued driving, Keira felt anxiety building up inside of her. What if she fails to make the man fall for her trap? what if she can't do it and just passes out? She started having negative thoughts.

She shuddered lightly and Thomas noticed and placed his warm hand on Keira 's hand.

"don't worry sweet cake, it'll be fine." he said while smiling and Keira nodded lightly, leaning her head against Thomas's shoulder.

"Are you cold?" the older one asked and Keira lightly shook her head.

"I'm fine thank you, brother." She whispered.

"I'm scared though." She whispered again.

"we won't let something happen to you, bub." Thomas said and Keira smiled.

Keira and Thomas are like real brothers and sisters now. They love each other so much though they have known each other for only a month. Keira had never known what a brother's love and warmth feels like until she met Thomas. Thomas is overprotective of his little sister too. And he will do anything to keep her happy and safe.

Krish didn't know why he felt his blood boiling when Thomas placed a small kiss on Keira's head, his fists clenched.

why? He doesn't know.

But he got annoyed with the view of Keira leaning against Thomas , looking so comfortable around the other.

He literally stared daggers into Thomas's hand that was placed on Keira's hand. Though he knows that Keira and Thomas are like brothers and sisters , he still can't help it.

What to say ? Krish is very jealous right now.

"Keira, sit up straight, we're almost there, you need to be ready." Krish ordered and Keira whined annoyed, because she was in a really comfortable position and felt like sleeping.

Thomas laughed at the youngest who pouted.

Krish also almost-just almost smiled at Keira's cuteness.

"Miss. Keira , when we are there, you have to use the normal entrance, take this card." Abraham said and threw a card to Keira, who caught it, before almost dropping it.

"you need to find out which room he's in, say you are a gift from his close friend Garry, then search for the documents." Abraham said.

And krish gritted his teeth.

Why was he so against Keira going there now?

"You can enter the building with this card, no one will question and if someone does, pretend to be lost and ask for the way to the elevator or something. First of all you need to ask on the counter for Mr. Justin's apartment. Don't be suspicious." Abraham continued, looking back at Keira to give her a reassuring smile.

"Krish will enter later, Nicolas will shut off the cameras and Chelsea will make sure there are no guards around when krish enters. Thomas you'll stay here in the car, you can hear everything we say. and I'll control the entrance." Abraham said.

"Only I can hear what Keira is saying though." Krish remarked, not knowing why he did. Maybe he wanted to let Thomas know he has access to keira.

"That's why Thomas can also see the same things Nicolas does, but he's here in the car. Keira has a camera installed in the glasses..." Abraham said and sighed.

"As long as Keira does what she's told and makes it right-this plan will be a success and we'll get that asshole." Thomas said.

And suddenly, all of this pressures the smallest. If she makes a mistake, the whole team will go under and they'll get caught.

Keira visibly gulped and Krish who had his eyes on the smaller through the mirror the whole time over noticed it of course.

"Blossom."

The mentioned girl looked up to the owner of the deep voice.

"what is it?" She asked.

"If you get caught , I won't be mad at you and if you don't want to do this. I'll let you drive back with Thomas and Abraham and I will find a way to get him without you." Krish said, making all of them look at him surprised.

Even the members in their base who heard everything through the microphones had hung-open mouths.

Keira felt warmth inside her by krish's words. She never expected the mafia boss to care about what she feels.

But right now, if Keira backs away, it would be like a chance for her to not accomplish her own goal , because she wants to show them and also herself that she is capable of doing such things and she won't let the team down because of her own fear.

"It's okay krish, i'll do it. don't worry about me." She said.

"I am not worrying about you." Krish said bored and Thomas scoffed and Abraham shook his head.

Keira looked at her lap. " I apologize in advance if something goes wrong." She whispers.

"Don't apologize bub, it'll be fine. we'll catch that bastard anyways." Thomas said reassuringly.

Keira sighed. "Brother, if he touches me

"That won't happen, so be quiet." Krish interrupted her. Keira shot a glare at him, because he was rude.

Keira stayed quiet then, passing her time with her own thoughts about how she could kick krish someday.

"Is it far?" Thomas asked after some time.

"No." Krish said and smirked.

"We are here." Abraham confirmed.
