Chapter 20: Familiar Scenario!
He muttered to himself(more like questioning) in order to ignore...
He heard footsteps of someone walking fast, more like in suspicious manner.
He turned and tried to look but the terror of dark haven't left him yet. He tried to relax and ignore these by giving an random excuses
Amun
(close the window) It might be a guard doing it's round!!?
Although he still doubt with his own statement. The footsteps were still roaming around his quarter...
At this point he started missing Bast a little who was not still in their chamber yet...
He was sitting on his bed waiting for the the footsteps to fade away! After sometimes the sound of footsteps got fainter and totally unaudiable...
Amun
As I said it was guards doing it's round...
Sometimes later he heard the sound of door knocking.
He got up and went to open the door, without having other thought then Bast... But after opening the door, to his surprise the person standing in front of him was an unknown mask man with no good intention.
Amun
(Back off) You... you might be in wrong room!
Mask man: But I'm pretty sure I'm not!!(took out his sword)
This scenario is familiar to Amun, he experienced this once before, he question to himself, where? When he saw the sword coming to him swinging, he fall down on the floor and close his eyes in terror...
Right after moment of some blinks when he heard some unexpected sound, he tried to open his eyes but before he could open, one large hand prevent his eyes from opening by covering it.
Bast
Take this out and clear the mess..
He ordered to guards who came after him in deep voice...
Amun feel he is under the embrace of two large arms and his eyes closing. He is familiar with this person's aura. He knows who it is!
Amun
Ma...May I open my eyes...
Bast
(Look at him) No, not yet!!...
Bast was genuinely concerned with Amun's dislike. He knows the fear he have. He knows that he could not come out from his previous trauma and he don't want another traumatic scene.
