Throwing my phone to the side, I stood up and walked out the bedroom. I turned left down a long hallway and started walking. As I came to the end if the hallway there was a pink door. I stopped and looked at it. I reached for the doorknob and turned it and the door flue open. As I stepped in the room I was surprised to see how nice and clean it was. In one corner there was a doll house with a little plastic family In it. In the middle was a big bed with a pink comforter on it. I felt a little hand slip in mine. I turned my head and looked down and there was this little girl standing there looking up at me.
"What are you doing in my room" she asks" papa won't be happy."
I kneeled down and looked at her "who is your papa sweetie"I say.
"GET OUT OF MY ROOM" she yells.
I backed out of the room and shut the door and headed straight back to the room we are staying in. As I walked into the room I could tell almost everyone had already gone to bed. I saw James holding a flashlight and reading a book quietly on his bed. I didn't want to disturb anyone,, so I quietly crept towards my bed. I laid down and stared at the ceiling for a bit then I slowly dozed off.
End of chapter one
CHAPTER 2
As I dozed off I awoke with a shake. As I opened my eyes I noticed James was hovering above me with a frightened look on his face.
"Sarah I think I heard something" he said in a frightened voice.
"James you probably just heard a mouse running or one of the kids talking in their sleep go back to bed" I say sleepily
I heard his feet hit the ground as he walked back to his bed. As I dozed off again I heard a laugh come from the hallway.
I sat right up" Did I imagine that "I thought to myself.
As it turned out I wasn't the only one who heard it, a couple of the others who heard it sat up too. I uncovered and put my feet on the ground slowly. I stood up and silently crept towards the door. I put my hand on the doorknob, took a deep breath and swung open the door. I peeked my head out the door and looked left and right.
"Weird" I thought.
" Nobody's out there" I say turning around to face everyone.
"Are you sure" says one of the girls.
" Yes I'm positive so let's all just go to bed and get some shut eye" i say getting back into my bed.
I finally fell asleep then maybe not thirty minutes later I heard a clock chime in the distance.
I groan " Just forget it I'm going to go on a walk"
