"WHAT?" She exclaims, looking at him with wide eyes and a straight-set mouth. "Have you lost your mind? You can't be serious. What, are you on drugs?" She continues in shock.
Riccardo stares at the slight woman before him, not understanding her reaction.
"How can you be so foolish? If I didn't agree to sell my virginity to you, how could you think I'd agree to get pregnant?" She poses the question to him, but perhaps it's more a question for herself.
"That doesn't matter now. Tell me whether you'll accept this alternative or if you'd rather keep trying to scramble money together that you're not going to get." he says, giving the girl a jolt of reality.
"Shut up. You don't know me. I'll work and make the money without doing that."
Eva goes out and heads towards the private room where she would dance for him. Minutes later, he enters the room and sits on the usual couch.
Eva starts the music and begins to dance, but this time it's more sensual than her previous performances. She holds onto the pole, climbs to the top, flips upside down, and slides down only stopping when she draws close to the floor. Her gaze never wavers from him.
Riccardo feels a stirring just by watching her, his desire for her grows, his body craves her, but Eva doesn't capitulate to pleasure, not with this depraved man.
When the dance ends, Riccardo is aroused, his eagerness to have her is immense. He rises and approaches the young woman.
"I'll pay 1.5 million dollars for you to surrender to me tonight." He insists because his yearning to have her beneath him is overwhelming.
"Never in this lifetime, I've already said." She replies. But before she can approach the door, she stops and faces him.
Eva moistens her lips and returns to the man, who stands still in the same spot. She approaches, runs her hand over his chest, and bites her lower lip.
"Maybe you could help me out if I give you two dances every night?"
After she speaks, Eva surprises him with a kiss, a sensual exploration of his mouth with her tongue before she finishes with a bite on Riccardo's lips. He grasps her firmly against his body.
"Don't tempt fate, girl." He says, gripping her hair firmly.
"Darling, accept my dances?" Her voice is provocative and sexy.
"If each one includes you coming to my bed afterward."
"Fool, I'll never do that." She says and pulls away, leaving the man frustrated and desiring.
Riccardo yanks her back to him and kisses her again. Eva tries to break free, but he, taller and stronger, doesn't budge.
He throws her on the couch and lays on top of her. His kisses traverse from her mouth across her body, his hands craving every part of her.
"Let me go, you bastard!" Eva screams.
"Stop that, I know you're enjoying it."
Riccardo moves his hand up her small skirt, reaching her intimacy, finding it dry.
Eva is terrified, but she's not a helpless woman. As he touches her, she knees him in his private area, making him recoil in pain.
"You bastard, never touch me, you disgust me." Eva says and lands a slap on his face.
"Listen here, you little slut. You don't have much of a choice; you need the money. I'm giving you two options; think carefully and choose wisely, because being poor and stupid is hard, even for a hot one like you."
Eva storms out, vowing never to get close to him again.
A week passes and Eva rejects all the dances Riccardo attempts to book, though he offers three to four times more than the usual rate; she wants nothing to do with him.
But things change with a simple email.
"Why so nervous, Eva?" Lara asks.
"I got another email. They say that the costume and shoes will be on the student's expense. I wasn't expecting this extra cost. Damn it, how am I going to get that money?"
"There are Riccardo's proposals." Lara states, as it's impossible to get that much money quickly.
"You must be insane. I will never sleep with him." Eva says, clearly agitated.
"Eva, I'm giving you three options. The first is the easiest: give up all your hard work over the years. The second is to sleep with that Greek god. And the third is to become a surrogate mother."
Eva looks at her friend. She'd do anything to achieve her dream for good money. Maybe she could sleep with him.
"I don't know. I don't want to abandon my dream, and I don't want to confront that creep again."
"It's about your dream. It's your call."
Eva spends the day considering ways to get money, thinking about a bank loan, but she knows she won't be able to get the needed amount.
She writes a list of pros and cons for each of the man's proposals, but none give her a solid advantage. Her spite is enormous, the man was right; she doesn't have many options. Even if she refuses to sleep with him, it could be a sound choice, as it would be only one night as opposed to nine months of pregnancy.
"That jerk's got a point, but if he thinks I'll go to bed with him for free, he's mistaken." Eva muses aloud.
In one hand, she holds her cell phone, in the other, a card he had given her the first time he offered her money.
Gathering her courage, she calls him. On the fifth ring, he answers.
"I've made my decision."
