Why Would You Have It With You

Her lips almost trembled when she decided to lift them and give her reply. A reply that became fatal for her, leaving her no face in front of the children she had despised.

One was the elder sister whom with efforts was almost getting out of her nerves and now the little brat who followed her daughter like a lackey suddenly became a bold cunning fox.

She didn't believe that Auriane actually had solid proves to pull down her strong foundation and save her sister's dignity. But the confident look in her deep ever green eyes had created an unshakable spark, causing her to look even more attractive under the rays of the sun. She no longer exuded a confused aura, but there was more behind her than the eyes could meet.

'What exactly was different about her?'

Stella closely looked at Auriane who didn't budge and was still fixing her deeply. The look in her eyes were gentle, but it had a cold intent if looked closely.

"What do you think aunt?"

"Obviously, if she's innocent and barely a victim, we'll claim her justice. It is a very serious case when a young girl gets violated. We definitely won't let it pass."

"I'm glad that aunt is willing to claim justice for my sister, then I can rest assured."

"Naturally, I won't be unfair, now what proves do you have?"

"Actually, I don't have any."

    Auriane calmly declared shdidn't have any proves, causing Stella to give a Sigh of relief. She had really been frightened that the arrogant little brat actually had solid proves. "Auriane, I understand that you love your sister, but how could you lie about proves, this isn't a child's play, we aren't joking here.."

"Aunt, I'm definitely not stupid, all these has to do with my sister's dignity, how could I play with it. I admit that I don't have proves but that doesn't mean there's actually none."

"Are you trying to stall time again."

"I dare not, but I just need aunt's permission to get the prove from elder cousin's room."

What!"

    Cindy's loud exclaim suddenly caused everyone to pay attention to her. No matter how she concealed it, there were obviously traces of panic on her face. She was sure that nothing was left to prove Nora innocent but if there was indeed a prove, then doesn't it mean she had purposely hidden the truth.

"W...why would such evidence of your sister's innocence be found in my room?"

"I expected that answer from elder cousin, why would you have it with you?"

How could she even know, she had no idea about what Auriane was talking about, neither how she knew that she had kept the proves with her. But there was one thing she could be confident about, no one could find anything. Hadn't she already destroyed th solid evidence, so how would Auriane be able to find anything. Even if she had accidentally seen the documents in her room, she couldn't guess that it had already been destroyed.

"I believe elder cousin wouldn't have any objection letting someone retrieve the evidence from her room."

"Why would I ..."

   Without giving it a second thought Cindy didn't hesitate to give Auriane the green card. Little did she even think that her proud arrogance would have been killed by that acceptance. She wasn't aware of the consequences of giving Auriane the green card. But Stella who wasn't a novice in settling such cases had already frowned.

She couldn't believe the mistake that her niece had done. Hadn't she taught her niece never to let her guards down and almost observe her enemies before doing anything.

The expression on Auriane's face wasn't that of doubt, but it was a confident grin. Would anyone have such an expression when they never calculated the outcome of their actions.

It was only at that moment that Stella finally acknowledged Auriane's skills. If in the past she needed Angel's permission before taking an action, then today she definitely didn't look stupid. She was stunning and amazing, even Cindy couldn't compare with her.

But as for what gave her this confidence, Stella couldn't tell. But the girl in front of her wasn't someone that she could easily deal with using few intimidating words.

She wasn't intimidated.

She knew what she was doing and she was confident that her words would bear the fruit of life. And if Stella had to sit and watch everything quietly without regretting, she might as well prepare for a disgrace.So she had to stop the little brat at all cost, stop her from building her wings, because if she actually turn to flap them, she light throw grenades at them once she goes up.

"Wait!"

Stella stopped Auriane who was ready to walk in the house to get the proves.

"How can I just let you search my niece's room, what if in hope to save your sister your actions condemn the later unfairly."

"Aunt, no need to use hidden words with me, I'm just child and I might misunderstand your good intentions. Aunt, the tongue has the power to destroy and build, I believe you'll rather use your's to build."

"Hmph, you've learnt how to speak, but you're right, my tongue is only to build, that's why I won't let you walk in that room to bring more doubts."

 Bring more doubts?

Stella was indeed a scheming woman, she had already declared that the proves had been fabricated even before she had brought them out. If she didn't take note of her words and indeed brought her proves out, people might doubt that it was fabricated by her a sister who was desperate to save her elder sister.

But Auriane couldn't be bothered, she wasn't born yesterday afterall and even if she was thirteen now, she had once lived passed her twenties. To tackle with such a scheming woman, the best way was to join her in the game and use superior strategies to beat her.

"I understand aunt's worry, but isn't it absurd to think that I would help sister to forge proves. We can only forge proves when we are aware in advance of a case. Sister came back from the capital sister barely four hours ago and I wasn't even at home by then. Everyone here could testify that I left home early this morning, so how would I know what was happening to forge the proves."

"Yes that's right, I did see her this morning, her sister only came back two hours after she had left." 

One of the women standing as witness agreed and caused the others to agree with her. Even those who hadn't seen her leave actually could tell that she wasn't at home when they gathered in front of the yard upon Stella's loud shouting. Their positive reaction caused Stella to feel restless, she bit her lips and glared at her step daughter.

She was trying to intimdate her, force her to give up any action. But Auriane sneered at her, did she think that she would be easily intimidated by her, just like in the past?

   She hadn't even taken action but she could already see Stella's facial expressions changing. Her beautiful features had started showing her veins.

She was angry.

   Even if she was angry, Auriane had no intention to stop yet, it would be best if Stella could vomit blood from her anger.

"Aunty is worried that I might turn to be unfair to save my sister, then why don't we let you choose a confident person of your choice to get the proves from elder cousin's."

Even though Stella was still gritting her teeth from anger, no matter how she wanted to strangle the girl in front of her, she could only comply.

But she was elated that Auriane let her chose a person of her choice, as long as she makes a the choice, she could still save some face even if Auriane indeed had the so called proves.

"Then I will definitely help."

   While Stella was cursing Auriane for taking the wrong step by giving her the choice, Auriane didn't hesitate to direct the person chosen by her aunt to Cindy's room.
