Wait, so you're telling me that the shipment of autographs that I told you to order yesterday haven't been ordered yet?

I looked in front of me at the new intern, who was completely oblivious to my lecture.

Intern

I ordered them this morning, just chill out.

I frowned, crossing my arms.

Lia Kane

Oh. You're right.

Lia Kane

You know what, I'm going to tell Mr Thorne to "go chill" after those cards come three days late, and he's forced to sign 200,000 cards in two days.

Lia Kane

But you're right, I should just chill.

That put her in her place.

Lia Kane

Do things as I say them and no other way, understand?

Suddenly, I heard my phone in my pocket vibrate.

Pulling it out, I frowned.

Putting the phone to my ear, I immediately answered it with the professionalism expected of a senior assistant.

Lia, finally, you picked up! I need you down at the photoshoot sight right now.

Oh no...

Lia Kane

I'll be right down.

Slipping my phone into my pocket, I frowned at the embarrassed intern.

Lia Kane

Next time, do as I say. I won't repeat myself.

I heard her curse me under her breath when I turned around, but decided to ignore it.

Something was wrong, and it seems like I was the only one who could fix it.

Like always.

After jumping into my car and flooring it down the highway, I finally made it to the shoot location.

You might be wondering what is the job of a senior assistant.

Well, I am assigned the three most popular artists in our company every year.

I manage any issues that they might have, any preferences they have during the shoot and any temper tantrums they might have that the media might see.

I'm a fixer; I fix things.

Stopping the car, I stepped out of it and smiled at the director and photographer.

Sliding my sunglasses down my nose, I gave them my charming smile that captures the attention of anyone, male or female.

Lia Kane

Gentlemen, what seems to be the problem?

Director

Who are you exactly?

I smiled, pulling my sunglasses down even further.

Lia Kane

Lia Kane, senior assistant. I'm here to make all of your problems disappear.

Lia Kane

Now, mind telling me what's the issue here?

Sara Lawrence

I WON'T DO IT.

Upon hearing a frantic screech from a female voice, I immediately understood who was the problem here.

Walking towards the trailers, I saw a woman standing outside the door, her arms crossed, while Rowan tried to calm her down.

Lia Kane

I'm sorry, is there a problem here?

Looking at me from head to toe, she frowned.

Sara Lawrence

Who are you?

I smiled, trying not to let her condescending attitude bother me.

Lia Kane

I'm Lia Kane, senior assistant to Golden Entertainment. And who are you?
