Chapter 5: Soulmate

I woke up and found myself in an unknown environment and suddenly my head started paining, all memories of Valentina flooded in my mind.
Valentina Rossi
She suffered so much......
Maverick
It's two days since Kai broke his engagement with Valentina.
I jumped on the bed being scared of his sudden arrival. I looked at him angrily and kept my hand on my left chest, trying to calm by heart down.
Valentina Rossi
Are you a ghost ? Come like a normal human being Maverick
I scolded him angrily while he gave me a cold glare which made me immediately shut my mouth up.
I realized whom I was talking to, I gulped down my saliva nervously.
Maverick
Don't speak out, otherwise everyone will think that you are mental person who escaped from the mental asylum.
Maverick
Speak in your mind, I and Robo will able to hear you as we are connected through telepathy
He said coldly while I gave him a tiny nod.
Suddenly I heard the doorbell ring, I looked at Maverick and he nodded, I walked downstairs and opened the door....
A man was standing there with a worried face and was holding a bouquet of blue hydrangeas.
Maverick
It's Kai's father
I flinched a little because of the sudden voice which rang in my head.
I took in a deep breathe before replying.
Valentina Rossi
Mr. D' Costa ?.....umm, may I know the reason for you, to give me a sudden visit.
Romeo D' Costa
Can... I come in ?
Valentina Rossi
Su-sure..... please come inside.
I stepped aside to make a way for him to come inside and as he came in I locked the door.
Valentina Rossi
Please have a seat sir.
Mr. Romeo sat down and I took the seat in front of him after, serving him a glass of water.
Romeo D' Costa
.....Thank you....
I smiled and him kindly but my heart was beating rapidly in nervousness.

I am sorry, Valentina..... I-

Sir please don't feel sorry, it was not even your fault.... in fact no one is at fault in this !

Kai loved Lilly and he broke....the engagement, it's absolutely ok-okay.
Why is my heart feeling heavy ?

It's the original owner's feelings.
This stupid Maverick again spoke out of nowhere making me flinch again.

He said while scratching his nape while a little tint of red appeared on his cheeks

I thought but dared not to speak it out loud

Tears had already started dripping from my eyes, it was the original owner's feelings.
He pulled me into a tight hug and I cried out like a baby in his arms.
