Chapter 14: Fever

Suddenly, a pair of hands gently pressed against Susan's forehead, bringing life-saving-straw-like comfort to Susan in the nightmare. She slowly opened her eyes, and her vision was not clear yet. At first, she felt a severe headache.

Susan knew what was going on. She had a fever.

When did she become so fragile? She actually had a fever after sleeping at the desk for a while.

"Woke up? Let's go home."

Gentle voice with deep caring, this voice was so familiar to Susan that she knew who he was even without looking back. She looked up at the teenager in front, his reddish face as clean as jade. His forehead was soaked with sweat. Apparently, Andy came here in a hurry.

"Andy."

With a hoarse voice, Susan stood up with his assistance. She saw the air conditioner over her head. The air conditioner was blowing cold air against her head. No wonder she would get sick.

Andy thanked the teacher, carried Susan in his arms and went out. He looked at the thin girl in his arms and was a little short of breath in worry.

Luna had long noticed the arrival of Andy. The window was transparent. Andy's long and handsome figure walked by the window. Not only the students, but also the teacher paid a little attention. When she saw Andy holding Susan, she naturally was unable to sit still and hurried out afterwards.

"Andy!"

Andy turned back and saw Luna. The girl often followed Susan to dinner at home. He nodded and said, "Susan has a fever."

"Ah? Why?" Luna stretched her neck and looked at Susan in Andy's arms. Her uncomfortable appearance did look terrible. Luna didn't ask any more and followed Andy to the Bull family.

"Will you be delayed in class?" Andy asked worriedly.

"No, no." Luna shook her head greatly, "Andy, Susan is the most important."

Andy nodded, and did not persuade her anymore.

When he arrived home, Andy was about to walk to his room. Luna stopped him and blinked ambiguously, "Andy, go to your younger brother's room."

Andy was not a fool. It was not a secret that Susan liked his younger brother. However, Andy had known from her behaviors these days that Susan seemed to be unwilling to be entangled with his younger brother again. Andy respected Susan's choice. He quickly decided and he went directly to his own room.

"Everywhere is the same. We must hurry up and let Susan get treatment right now."

Luna wanted to say something more. Andy could not wait for her to organize the language. After he put Susan on his bed, the family doctor arrived.

As soon as he received a call from Miss Wood, he contacted the family doctor.

Luna stood by the door. Her eyes uncontrollably swept across every corner of the room. Although she had come to Bull's house many times, she rarely visited Andy's room. Susan always stayed at Henry's room and Henry protected his elder brother tightly and outsiders were not allowed to disturb his elder brother.

Andy's room was simple and clean with many books, but it was also neatly arranged on the long writing desk by the window. The dark green curtains had been added four layers.

Luna never forgot the first time she opened the door of this room out of curiosity. The gentle and quiet teenager turned to her. The glasses were half on the bridge of his nose. The deep pupil was about to suck her in.

He smiled slightly, and hadn't spoken yet. Henry's harsh remonstrance came and scared her to close the door quickly.

The love in young age was quiet, like spring seedlings rooting and sprouting.

"After the injection of the fever-reducing needle, the fever will soon be gone. Let Miss Cotton sleep for a while. Feed her some warm porridge after she woke up and let her have a rest after taking the medicine."

Andy nodded and replied: "Thank you doctor."

"It's okay, it should be done" Dr. Song looked at the girl on the bed. She knew that Susan's temperament could not rest, and once again assuredly asked: "Miss Cotton must rest well and mustn't stay up all night. If she stayed up again, even fairy can't save her!"

Andy smiled helplessly: "I see."

Dr. Song was about to leave. Andy saw Luna on the side, remembering that her class had not finished, and said to Dr. Song: "Dr. Song, please send this girl to the tuition class at A crossroad. It just happened to be on the way."
