Chapter 13: Bullying Memories

Henry left without finishing the lesson. Susan ignored him, and he was too bored. Mr. Smith was still making a lecture. He intentionally made the sound by pushing the table and chairs and intended to stop Mr. Smith from speaking.

Mr Smith stopped.

They looked at him together in confusion. With a grin, Henry turned around and walked away.

Susan looked at him indifferently and turned her head to indicate Mr. Smith to continue. Though keeping calm and cold, she couldn't help feeling bitter in her heart.

It's nice that she didn't love him any longer in this life.

At noon break, Luna ran to the classroom to find her, and persuaded her for a long time, but Susan didn't listen to her at all. She merely laid on the table with a few words. Luna looked at her sleepy face in anger.

Mr. Smith next to her couldn't bear any longer. He cut in with the tone of an adult, "Little sister, there is something you can't take control, you .."

Before he finished speaking, Luna retorted It's none of your business, old man!"

Mr. Smith was speechless for a while and dared not to talk anymore. He packed things up and got out of the classroom. He whispered to himself that the little girl today was really terrible. As kind as Mr. Cotton was, how could she be friends with such a girl?

He had no idea that Susan used to be such a girl.

Susan didn't sleep very well on the table. She always dreamed and felt very uncomfortable.

In the dim alley in front of her slowly appeared three or five girls. The crying and the scolding sound mixed together made people shudder

"As soon as I see you, I know that you are not good!"

A familiar voice came, followed by a crisp slap.

"How dare you to touch my man? Are you courting for death?"

"Woo"

"Ha-ha, as humble as you, you even couldn't match our Mrs Bull's finger, ha-ha .." Luna took the lead to ridicule her, and several other little girls around her laughed together.

"Have you heard our words? Get out as far as you can! It's better for you to drop out of school! Never imagine you can get close to my man. It is out of the question!"

Susan was wearing heavy makeup, her face full of fierceness. She was very skilled in dragging the collar of other girls.

The bullied girl's eyes were full of cruelty. She laughed sarcastically at Susan, "Out of the question? What about you? I have never heard that Henry admitted he had a girlfriend. Miss Cotton, you are just like me. I have no chance, neither do you!"

"Bitch!"

The lips with big red lipstick were bitten by the shell teeth, and the blood merged with the lipstick. Susan raised her hand and slapped her so forcefully that she couldn't help feeling pain on her hand. Susan raised her feet again and kick directly the girl's belly.

"He is mine! Henry is mine!"

She was fierce, because the girl did strike her weakness.

Without Henry's acknowledgment, she was no different from Henry's pursuers.

Susan wanted to kick her again, but Henry's voice came from behind, "Susan"

All the people turned around like startled birds. The boy stood against the light, and his shadow stretched very long to Susan's feet. He was expressionless, his eyes sparkling with annoyance.

"Susan, stop."

This was particularly harsh to Susan. She smiled and asked, "What's wrong? Are you feeling hurt?"

Henry frowned. I order you to stop. Don't you understand?"

"This woman is very insidious. The encounters were arranged by her intentionally. She wander around in front of you every day, and that time you lost your wallet and founded it again. It is her .."

"Susan, she did so much just to get my attention. Didn't you do the same things?"

Henry's lips raised, and the mocking words pierced Susan as a sharp blade. Susan was dumb for a moment. She didn't know how to answer. Henry didn't save her face, and the laughter of the people around her turned into a devil who dashed toward her.

Darkness, suffocation, layers of oppression swept through her whole body. Susan couldn't breathe comfortably. She could not tell whether this was a dream or reality. Susan couldn't help feeling panic.

She wanted to find the exit, but her powerlessness in her dream made her fail to escape from the darkness. She could only be crushed by relentlessness and got drowned in dreams.
