It has been days since brother Yize told me about his new girlfriend i felt listless , broken , shattered which other can i use to classify my despair Hmmmm.

"Lily can you lend me you ear piece.... mine seems to be broken i cant get them to work" He said with his cheerful childish look

i got lost while staring that i didn't hear anything he said afterwards but the crashing of the plates by dad did justice to my lost mind

"Come on did you hear your brother" dad said

i hurriedly passed him the earpiece and tried to distract my self with my assignments so as to keep my embarrassment ...

The next morning i hurriedly went to school because i was an hour and few minutes late , i couldn't sleep much last night because i couldn't get over the embarrassment

while rushing down the road i meant the school's thug who had been hiting on me since first grade , He and his friends were regular late comers who dont come to school until we are almost done with the first lesson

"Hey Lily" he said in a disgusting manner with his unbuttoned uniform and his big fat round cheeks and his big stomach which is the same size with his father's who is our principal

"Hey jinchen" i replied while walking as fast as i can .

Finally we are on lunch break , Ai comes over to my seat with her boyfriend muchen and we had a conversation for a while before Muchen excused himself and Ai throws the question that i knew was bugging her since i got to school

"why did you come late " she asked

i giggled and replied

" i woke up super late today that i had to jog down to school" i said

"oh i thought you went hiking with your brother instead " she said sheepishly

i gave a sadish look and she instantly understood

"So you aren't cool with him yet?" she asked

i shake my head to the question

" well i understand the feeling" she said

She tried to change the topic in other to revive the mood before the break came to an end

and we resumed the daily activities
