Episode 4: Contract Marriage

The next day Kate got ready for her fist day of work when she got a sudden knock on the door. It was Mark's secretary Dan and he came to pick her up since his boss gave him the order.

As kate was getting ready Dan sat on the sofa looking at her in the sweetest way. She ignored him and when she was done she got ready to leave with Dan. As they both left the house Mark was waiting for them in the car.

As soon as Kate and Dan entered the car Mark yelled in anger. "What took you guys so long. I don't like waiting for others. Dan you will know it better than anyone else. Dan didn't say anything much but replied "yes sir". Kate got scared at the yelling so she stared blankly without any clue.

Suddenly Mark gave Kate a cold stare and said " what are you daydreaming about. Do you understand now that you shouldn't be late." Kate nodded her head with discomfort.

In a few minutes they reached the company. They all went to their respective seats and started working when all of a sudden Mark calls Kate into her office for a meeting.

Kate was a bit surprised as it was her first meeting and also alone. She gave a small knock and entered into the office.

she sat infront of Mark when Dan came inside with some papers and handed one for both and left.

Kate gasped as soon as she read the highlighted part of the paper. It was non other than a marriage contract. Mark explained the entire contract to everyone and didn't say much.

The rules were

*Party A is allowed to meet up with girls without party B's permission.

*Party B can't talk to men other than Party A or Dan.

*If anyone disagrees with the contract they need to pay 100 million dollars.

*The marriage contract will be valid for 2 years.

*Party B must attend to party's with party A.

*Party A and B can be friends with benefits.

As the compensation part got into Kate's brain she had no other choice but to agree to the contract.

Mark gave a weird smirk and then Both of them signed the contract. Well Kate's life gets flipped upside down from now on 😞

Contract Marriage is something which i personally don't support.
