As the car reach to the company Mark stops the car at the end of the road and gets off the car. He was walking into the company with his secretary Dan and all the workers bowing to him.
He gave a small glare and walked into his office to check the progress of the company and also to check all his emails. While he was busy with work suddenly a knock can be Heard. He asked to enter and was shocked to see Kate.
KATE'S POV
When i came into the company with a stained shirt, everyone thought of me as a useless bum who was very poor. I didn't give much attention to the stares and got into the elevator. While i was in the elevator suddenly Dan entered and was surprised to see me. He asked me " are you here for the job interview " I answered "yes".
He wished me luck and showed me the president's office. That's when i saw him through the glass window busy with work. But i got furious knowing that it was the same guy from the coffee shop and couldn't help but to curse at him in my brain 🤣.
After standing next to the door for a few seconds i got shocked to here a very stern voice say " Come in". I entered without saying anything but he was very surprised when he saw me, because it was as if he saw a ghost.
MARK'S POV:
When i saw her enter i was so surprised for a minute. But then i gave a smirk making her cringe at me. I told her to sit in front of me in a cold voice.
She didn't say anything and sat down. I stared at her for a while and asked her to introduce herself. She didn't say much and only said her name.
After that, I asked a few questions while going through her resume. And when i asked her why she only studied till high school and didn't try for higher educational levels. She gave me a sad look and replied " Because i am not allowed to and i dont have enough money to pay". Hearing that i couldn't help but to pity her and asked for detailed explanation but she gave me a firm no.
So i didn't argue much and let her have the job without further questions. She was chosen to be my Personal Assistant to help me with my daily life. I was quite happy when i knew that it was gonna be her.
Though i don't know her past life which is very sad. She was filled with joy and excitement when she knew she got the job.
