Grandfather Alan went to talk to Nina, but on the way he saw Maximiliano with a bleeding forehead, laughing loudly. The man is pleased with Nina's character and is sure that no one in that room can break that little doll.

Alan approached Nina, and his large hand gently rested on her head, offering comfort. Nina looked up at him, tears on the verge of spilling from her eyes, so his imposing voice thundered.

"Everyone... leave now. I want to talk to my granddaughter, and I don't want anyone near," he said, while the Cannat family immediately exited to the garden, aware of the elder Cannat's temperament. The Ugarte family was more reluctant, but they also couldn't approach Nina, as their daughter currently rejects them.

Being alone with Nina, Grandfather moved closer and gave her a tender kiss on the crown of her head, embracing her like a protective father. He had only ever had sons and grandsons, so having such a strong and determined girl as his beloved granddaughter was a dream come true.

"Don't let your troubled relationship with Max affect you. What happened is terrible, but it has nothing to do with my grandson, or at least not directly. Nina, you can burn down the house if you want, break whatever you want in the head of my grandson whenever you like. You deserve it. Alonzo, I want you to be helping Nina during this time, don't even think about going back to your country, there you do nothing but laze around, your friend needs you. I will appoint you as her advisor at Ugarte company, and Camila, you should be assisting Nina with any issues that arise. The man left the place after giving Nina a warm hug, which she gladly accepted. Grandfather Alen may seem cold, but he is a warm-hearted man with plenty of love to give.

Maximiliano felt annoyed and indignant, while Alexander was more than happy. It was obvious that Nina didn't need him for anything, as she had someone to comfort her in the worst moments.
