Nina approached the woman who was looking at her suspiciously, unbothered by Nana Gloria's attitude. She doesn't care about anything related to Max.
"Who is the chauffeur?" the girl said imperiously, leaving Gloria speechless.
"I am the chauffeur, my name is Filiberto," said a calm and measured man.
"Well, Filiberto, please take me home as quickly as possible," Nina hurriedly passed by him. She was furious while Gloria stood there, opening and closing her mouth, unsure of what to say.
In Max's office, he awaited Leo who arrived calmly, unable to comprehend why his friend was so agitated.
"Max, it's Saturday morning. You got married yesterday. What are you doing here?" the man said, observing his friend who appeared like a demon sitting on his large throne in the realm of hell.
"What happened last night? How did I leave? Who took me?" Max bombarded him with questions, leaving his friend at a loss for words.
"Um... well, we were drinking after the toast. I was drunk and Hugo came to tell me that he would take you to your brother's so you could be sent home. You were very drunk, and Nina also seemed troubled, which seemed strange to me. We saw her drinking at the 'Sad Lamb,' and she seemed like an experienced drinker," Leo hurriedly explained, sensing that something bad had happened.
Max was about to call Alexander when his assistant, Marco, entered the room looking pale.
"Mr. Cannat, I just received a call from the mansion. They told me there was a fire in the master bedroom. The firefighters have already arrived, and everything is under control," Marco said, scared. However, what truly perplexed him was the story behind the fire.
Maximiliano stood up like a spring, his first thought being Nina's safety.
"Where is Nina? Is she okay?" he asked in a rush, as Marco nodded reassuringly.
"She's fine. I think you should talk to my aunt Gloria, boss," Marco replied nervously. Gloria was his aunt, and that's how he became Max's assistant five years ago.
Now more composed, Maximiliano called his nanny. That woman knew him better than anyone else, and only she could explain what had happened.
"Hello, Nana. Tell me, what happened? Where is Nina?" he asked, worried. But the answer was something he never expected.
"My child, that woman is crazy. When we arrived, she stormed out like a demon and left with Fili. But a few minutes later, we smelled something strange and saw smoke upstairs. We rushed to see what was happening, and it was the matrimonial bed that was engulfed in flames, just the bed and a bottle of medicinal alcohol with a lighter she used in the kitchen. Your substitute wife burned the bed like a bonfire. We had to call the firefighters," the woman said, a mix of annoyance and fear in her voice.
Maximiliano stood frozen for a moment, never imagining that Nina could be so aggressive and furious. It was evident that both of them had fallen into someone's trap, but this girl was an uncontrollable force of nature.
Leo looked at him curiously, unable to comprehend what was happening, until Max hung up without saying anything and just stared at him, exhausted. This was truly worse than he had imagined.
"Leo, I woke up with Nina today. We had relations, but neither of us remembers anything. I left Nina locked in the bathroom, and now they tell me there was a fire in my room. It was a bonfire on my bed where I was with Nina. She burned the bed out of anger," Max said wearily. It wasn't even 10 a.m., and he already wanted a divorce. He no longer wanted to continue with this and feared for his physical safety.
Leo opened and closed his mouth, unsure of what to say. Nina seemed so sweet and tender, but it appeared that she was the complete opposite.

Nina arrived home and bid farewell to Filiberto, who refused to leave.
"Filiberto, thank you. You can go now," Nina said, feeling slightly calmer. Seeing that bed burn had brought her some relief.
"Mrs. Cannat, I'll wait for you, take all the time you need. You can pack your clothes to take them back with your personal belongings," he said politely while Nina furrowed her brow. She has no intention of returning, not even in her wildest dreams.
"Filiberto, thank you, but I won't be coming back. It's best if you leave as you'll be waiting in vain," she said, quickly entering her house.
The man sighed, realizing that this marriage is more complicated than it seems.
Nina entered the house as her parents watched her zoom past towards her bedroom. She had left the party unnoticed by them, and they assumed she left with Max to settle into their new mansion.
Nina entered her room only to find the beautiful eyes of Alonzo already awake, packing his bags. He was about to move in with Camila; it's not good to stay in this house.
Nina rushed to hold onto her friend and cry. She feels incredibly angry and hurt, while Alonzo embraces her without understanding what happened, but judging by her friend's clothes, he has a bad feeling.

That's it. I can't stand either of the main leads. I'd rather see a story about the bestfriend and the fake boyfriend instead.

That's rude. I get you're angry, but the poor guy doesn't deserve to serve as punching bag. At least raise his salary if he needs to endure such attitude/treatment on a regular basis
