Episode 7

Nina wiped her mouth before speaking; this was the last straw.

"Aunt Lucia, I think you're mistaken about which sister. I believe Max and Celia would make a lovely couple, they're a perfect match," Nina said, smiling as Celia lowered her head and continued eating.

"What do you mean by a perfect match?" Brenda asked her daughter, not liking the tone she used.

"They are the perfect couple, a whore and a bastard made for each other," Nina calmly stated, grabbing a chicken leg from the table.

Brenda opened her mouth as everyone looked at each other, unable to comprehend. Celia looked at Brenda and burst into tears, immediately leaving the dining room.

"Nina, how can you say such things about your sister? Max is our guest, and you've always been so kind to him. I don't understand why you're being so hurtful," Brenda roared indignantly. She wouldn't allow that kind of language or manner of speaking between sisters.

"I just wanted to make it clear that they make a good couple. Besides, they've had sex several times already, so starting a relationship wouldn't be a problem for them," Nina absentmindedly said as Max wanted to throttle her.

Nina had absolutely no sense of prudence or delicacy.

"Nina, there was no need for you to say that. It happened a long time ago, and it's part of my privacy and Celia's," Max roared, annoyed, while Lucia wanted to die of embarrassment.

"It wasn't so private when you had her on all fours, fucking her at your parents' mansion during your brother's wedding," Nina responded calmly, pushing Max's buttons.

"Nina, enough! You're only hurt because I rejected you. You're so immature that you can't accept rejection," Maximiliano stood up indignantly, reproving her. He had reached his limit.

Before anyone else could react, Nina grabbed her glass and threw the wine in Max's face, leaving everyone petrified.

"Of course, you rejected me. It was crystal clear when, half an hour later, you fucked my sister just to make it clear that I meant absolutely nothing. And yes, I accepted your rejection and I'm grateful for it, but I won't allow you to stand in front of me with your angelic faces or promising prospects of being good husbands when I know who you really are. You're a selfish and narcissistic person who only thinks with his dick. Since I don't want to see you in my life anymore, I want to make it clear that I don't intend to be your friend or acquaintance. Hypocritical people like you disgust me," Nina said.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm leaving. This 'friendly' dinner has killed my appetite," Nina stood up and went to her room while Brenda didn't know what to do and everyone looked at a lost Max, who had never felt so embarrassed and annoyed.

That night, Brenda talked to Nina about what had happened, but her daughter seemed to have no feelings towards it. It seemed like she just wanted to make it clear that she didn't want to be associated with Max ever again, that the lovesick girl had died four years ago.

Brenda left feeling distraught, while Celia, on the other hand, felt more at ease. Now she knew what her sister thought of her, and she was terribly hurt. She thought Nina was only angry, but it seems her little sister hates her so much that her voice doesn't even tremble when she calls her a whore to her face. She had never imagined things would escalate to this point with her.

A year later, Nina graduated, and her parents attended the ceremony, but Celia did not. This seemed to have no effect on Nina; this situation made Brenda even more nervous. As a mother, she didn't want her daughters to be at odds, but she didn't know how to reconcile them. Nina seemed like an unbreakable rock.

A few months passed, and Nina found out through Camila that Max and Celia had gotten engaged. Nina saw it as natural due to the closeness of the families, so the only thing she did was send a congratulatory message on her sister's wall.

Celia, when she saw this, couldn't help but feel bitter. She knows he did it to upset her, but she can't do anything about it.

A month later, Nina received an invitation to her sister and Max's wedding. She sent a message to Celia on WeChat, indicating that she won't be able to attend as she has an interview at a prestigious company on that day, and it's a unique opportunity.

Upon seeing the message, Celia angrily threw her phone against the wall. Nina was so extreme that she didn't know how to handle the situation.
