Nina entered her room and took a shower, but when she came out, she saw Celia in her room, looking at her with some nerves.

"Nina, I don't want us to be fighting. I know I made a mistake, but I can't undo what happened. Just let me get closer to you, okay?" Celia said with a smile, while Nina didn't pay much attention to her, as she changed her clothes. It was evident that her style had changed since she was a young girl. Now her clothes were more casual and loose, but one thing was certain: it wasn't like before.

"Don't worry, things happen for a reason. Now I understand that we shouldn't be naive in this life, and we must mistrust even shadows," the girl said as she adjusted her clothes, leaving Celia petrified. This wasn't her sweet Nina. She seemed distant and sarcastic, her voice was harsh, lacking any softness in every syllable.

Just as Celia wanted to speak, Nina's cellphone rang, interrupting the moment.

"Camila, I'm home. Where should we meet?" Nina smiled sweetly, leaving Celia heartbroken. It had been a long time since she had seen that smile.

"Nina, let's meet at the Bar, 'The Sad Ram.' Sebastian and Lucas want to see you too, along with Hanna and Mariel. Everyone is waiting for your arrival," Camila said excitedly. She hadn't seen her in four years.

"See you there," Nina quickly hung up, grabbed her bag, and said a hasty goodbye to Celia.

"Celia, I'm going to meet my friends. I'll be back later," Nina left the place confidently, without even considering her sister's words.

Celia sighed deeply. She didn't know what to do to make her sister return to her old self. She took out her cellphone and sent a WeChat message to Maximiliano.

"Nina is in town. She arrived a while ago and went out with her friends. I don't know where. I'll let you know when she's back home so that you can see her," Celia quickly wrote, hoping that they could at least apologize and make her understand that it had only been a silly mistake, and they had never intended to hurt her on purpose.

In the office of Cannat Corp, Maximiliano was sitting at his fine desk, reviewing some papers when he saw Celia's message. He read it with a hint of lethargy, as he was busy. However, after reading it, he set everything aside and returned the call.

"Celia, is she in town? Where is she?" Max asked hurriedly. With each passing year, he felt the immense cruelty he had shown towards the girl. He just needed to be gentler and not hold onto his sister in front of her. That had indeed been unpleasant. He had matured, and now, at the age of 29, about to enter his thirties, he understood that he had shattered the fragile self-esteem of a teenage girl - something foolish on his part.

"I don't know where she went. Camila called her, and she left like lightning. She didn't listen to me at all. It's like my apologies mean nothing to her," Celia didn't want to give up, but Nina was very tough now.

Maximiliano grunted in response and then hung up. He needed to find a way to meet her.

Alicia, Alexander's wife (Maximiliano's older brother), took a photo and sent it to her husband, including the location reference. She was certain that he would be surprised to know that Nina was in town.

Alexander received the photo with a smile. He believed that in his brother's life, no girl had ever made him regret his actions like Nina Ugarte had. Although he didn't know what had happened, he realized that his brother had been somehow affected by the sudden lack of interest from Nina.

He sent the photo to his brother without knowing that he already knows that Nina is in town, but when Max saw the photo and the reference to the place, he abruptly stood up and left his office, his assistant Marco saw him, uncertain of what to say.

Max called Leonel, his best friend, wanting him to accompany him and not enter the place like a stalker, wanting it to be casual.

Upon hearing that Nina was in town, Leonel burst into laughter, knowing that Max had felt a particular guilt for his behavior.

When they both entered, they went upstairs to locate the young people, and that was when he saw Nina laughing and talking about everything. She looks beautiful, perhaps the most beautiful girl in the city right now. Her bright eyes and beautiful smile make her captivating. At the place, young people from other tables are desperately trying to catch her attention, leaving Max a little demoralized.
