In no time, school was over. Shane was pleased with the council's outcome, but she is facing a more serious issue than she could have ever imagined.
At the office of a councilor flashback
"Excuse me," a mysterious voice said.
"Huh?" was the surprised response from both parties.
JP remarked, "I knew you were doing stupid things again." (James Paul in abbreviation)
Joshua said, "Oh JP." 'What's up?"
"Since you're too foolish to understand the type of thing you did," JP remarked, "I thought of coming here."
Shane questioned, "How come you didn't become president and let this stupid mouse become one?"
JP remarked, "You better thank me for coming here."
Joshua questioned, "Why is that?"
"When they heard Shane's name being called, some females were nearby," according to JP.
Shane said, "Thank you JP for that. If this idiot did something else, feel free to hurt him; if not, I can just call the cops and say he s***** me."
JP said, "You better get moving." "I already advised the other pupils to return, so don't worry about them."
Shane said, "Thanks."
JP said, "Oh right, Shane, I have something to discuss."
Shane questioned, "What is it?"
"I don't want your stinky brother to hear us, so let's walk outside." JP said.
Shane started to be curious about JP as they walked outside to a location where no other students might hear them. He also started to notice JP's tone of voice. She hasn't heard JP's voice like this since the last time.
JP stated, "I feel like this should be far away."
Shane questioned, "What is it?"
JP inquired, "I heard from Joshua earlier that you considered not disclosing to the school that you both are siblings. Why is that?"
Shane questioned, "He didn't tell you the reason?"
JP remarked, "He did, but isn't that kind of disrespectful for your brother? Also, I don't think that's the real reason you don't want the school to know."
Shane asked, "Did you see through me?"
"I'm not Joshua, so I can easily see right through you," JP remarked.
"Don't worry about it," Shane remarked; "it's nothing special."
JP's atmosphere went silent for a brief period of time. He gave Shane a hard look as if he were about to rip her soul from her body.
"Okay, you've got me," Shane said.
"It's creepy," Shane remarked, "Stop staring at me already."
"I'm glad you know how to obey," JP said.
"Back in middle school, when Joshua would occasionally drop by my class to give me items I had forgotten to get from, the majority of my classmates would ask me, if I knew Joshua. When I replied that "He was my brother," they were all taken aback. Although I'm used to this kind of reaction, the girls in my class and other sections started making overtures to me the day after tomorrow. When the vacation was ended and things went back to school, they requested me to give Joshua gifts on special occasions, but I never really had friends other than Sofia and Angelica who were in the other class and they don't have any idea that i went through like that but in the end i just told them like it wasn'ta big deal about it, so I just accepted them. As soon as the school started, on every special occasion, students would ask me to deliver gifts to Joshua because they lacked the nerve to do so. Since they were constantly around me because of Joshua, I eventually became tired of them and decided to stop myself and say NO to them and also on what they had to say to me until Joshua finished middle school," Shane said.
"Since I've been able to live quietly ever since, I gave it some serious thought over the summer. He wasn't aware of the real reason, so he simply agreed," according to Shane.
Shane remarked, "I just want to have a normal high school life. I didn't really mean to have like a cruel intention to it, even though it's kind of selfish."
"As much as I say it as a buddy, having a well-known sibling isn't simple," JP stated.
"Although Joshua is foolish, he is still a good brother and understands you, so sometimes I worry about him," JP stated.
Since JP is like a brother to me and also shares our villa with Joshua, the two of them have been friends since kindergarten. As a result, I trust JP more than Joshua (this isn't biased, but my real feelings >.<) They frequently hang out in our backyard and occasionally in Joshua's room.
JP questioned, "Have you tried telling Joshua about this?"
Shane replied, "No. You can already tell that Joshua is the sort to get revenge when someone tried to bully me."
"Well, you're right—especially considering that he's now the council president—but are you certain of this?" JP questioned.
Shane responded, "Yes, as long as I wouldn't go through the same thing again, I'll let him boss me around like a normal student."
"But you know when you told Joshua about the-" JP cut off his sentence.
"What, hmm?" Shane questioned.
"Nothing," JP answered. "But you know, I was actually surprised that you used aunt's last name when I saw your name in the section list."
Shane grinned, "It's just an escape goat thing."
"However, I did get this kind of feeling," JP added. "Are you certain that nobody from your middle school visited this place?"
"Though it is private, I don't believe anyone from my school has come to study here," Shane remarked.
"They might also be using you or exposing you, so just be careful," JP said.
"It'll be alright," Shane assured them, adding that she was not scared to defend herself.
"You know where to find me, kay?" JP said, adding, "Well, if you ever had any problems or you want to talk about it."
Shane questioned, "Ok, kept that a secret from Joshua though."
JP replied, "Got it. See ya."
END OF THE FLASHBACK
"What does he mean be careful?" Shane thought.
Shane chose the X High School despite the fact that the top 3 schools in the city are attended primarily by students from wealthy families and some of whom received scholarships. Shane passed the exam with a score of 109 in the first year announcement, while the person who finished in second place did so with a score of 92, demonstrating how she entered the institution without paying a dime.
The school offers a wide range of amenities that middle schools everywhere have long desired. Well-known and reputable pupils, pristine surroundings, and a variety of rooms for music, swimming, basketball, and other sports and athletic pursuits. Due to this, the school currently owns the record for the athletic team's previous victory. They had been aiming for gold medals up to this point, holding 16 gold, 10 silver, and 6 bronze medals over the years.
NEXT DAY
Shane was dropped off in the same spot and unexpectedly she saw Adam coming inside the convenience store.
"Does he always like melon buns?" She thought.
After being dropped off in the same location, Shane unintentionally caught a glimpse of Adam entering the convenience store.
"Does he always enjoy melon buns," she wondered.
In order to make up for her lack of sleep, Shane went inside to get a coffee. As she was deciding which type of coffee would keep her awake until the end of class and, Adam suddenly then reached for the drink.
Shane exclaimed with shock, "Woah!"
Shane apologized for getting in the way.
Adam replied, "Yeah, you are."
"What the hell is that attitude for," Shane wondered, "Did I hear that right?"
When he noticed Angelica was about to cross the street, she had just completed inspecting her purchases and was getting ready to depart.
She patted Angelica's back and said, "Angelica."
Shane said, "Good morning."
In this opinion, Angelica said, "Good...morning."
Angelica questioned, "What happened to you? You have shadows under your eyes."
Shane added, "I couldn't sleep too well last night, so I bought myself some coffee."
Angelica questioned, "Do you think that'll continue long?"
Shane responded, "No, that's why I purchased three, and I'll be napping during break so I won't be having lunch with you today."
They strolled together to school and chatted about the normal topics—assignments and other stuff—but it was obvious that Angelica constantly talked about males and dates (she's single, though), and Shane was simply in a daze at the time before they got there.
Shane adjusted to school without experiencing any sleepiness or fatigue, and she was able to focus until break.
Sofia said, "Let's go, Shane."
Shane stated, "I'll be napping during break."
Sofia asked, "Why? Aren't you feeling well? You have black bags under your eyes."
Angelica explained, "That's because she didn't sleep and had to rely on the coffee."
"You do have a problem, right?" Sofia questioned.
Shane responded, "No, I was simply watching anime last night without realizing that I just slept for two hours."
"Okay, then let's dive in," Sofia said.
Angelica enquired, "Do you want anything? You might get hungry later."
Shane asked, "Can you buy me a ham and bacon sandwich and also two milk boxes?"
Angelica said, "Got it, pay me later before homeroom starts."
Shane was already wearing headphones and getting ready to fall asleep as they both left the room. Since she was the only student in the classroom, she used her handkerchief as a pillow to make herself comfortable. The only break they get is an hour before the next class begins.
Shortly after, someone walked into the room. Shane was so worn out that she was oblivious to the presence of another person.
