Episode 20

The car flips multiple times, tumbling down the steep, tree-lined slope, an area completely inaccessible and rugged.

Bianca awakens shortly after the crash, covered in bruises and small cuts from shattered glass.

Snapping to consciousness, she is hit by the potent smell of gasoline and the realization that the car might explode sends her into a panic. Struggling, she frees herself from the seatbelt and, despite her injuries, calls out for Otavio, who is unresponsive. Frantically feeling her way around, she locates Otavio’s arm and, sniffing it for his scent to confirm his identity, she finally forces the jammed car door open with a series of kicks.

Managing to exit the vehicle, Bianca, with considerable effort, drags Otavio out. He is a large man, and she strains to pull him while noting the blood on his face.

As the smell of gasoline grows stronger, she hastens to get both of them away from the car as quickly as possible.

Making matters worse, bullets start raining down on their location as enemies from above fire into the dense woodland below, intent on ensuring there are no survivors. They cannot see Bianca and Otavio, but they shoot blindly to confirm their deaths.

A stray bullet grazes Bianca's arm, and two bullets head towards Otavio's abdomen. Bianca, horrified, nearly screams, but the thought that her shouts could reveal their position leads her to stifle her cries with her hand. Fortunately, Otavio's protective vest saves him from the bullets' full impact.

But the inevitable occurs: one of the bullets strikes the car, generating a spark that sets off an explosion.

Bianca throws herself over Otavio, unable to hold back her scream of desperation.

After the blast, the enemies leave, assuming they have killed the Sicilian Don. Little do they know, a petite and delicate young woman is also strong and clever, acting without hesitation to save herself and Otavio.

Later, desperate for Otavio to regain consciousness, Bianca pleads with him to wake up. The severity of his wounds is unknown to her, and her own arm throbs painfully as she remains in shock.

Crawling, she searches for something to defend herself with and finds a sturdy tree branch to sit with by Otavio's side, awaiting potential help.

She hears Otavio's phone ring and locates it by following the sound.

She finds the phone and manages to answer the call.

Bianca: Hello... hello, please help me.

John: Hello, Bianca, where are you?

Bianca explains their plight in brief and stays on the line to help John locate them.

After a lengthy wait, she hears footsteps and voices, quickly rising, branch in hand, ready to defend herself and Otavio.

John approaches, rushing to check on Otavio and sighs in relief to find his friend alive, having run the whole way, fearful he would be too late to save the man he considers a brother.

Seeing Bianca, armed with a piece of wood, he can't help but laugh, despite the grave situation.

"Don’t come any closer—I don't want to hurt anyone!"

"Little one, put down that branch before you injure yourself."

Otavio steps forward, takes the branch from Bianca, and seeing her bleeding arm, calls for a paramedic's help.

Meanwhile, paramedics, together with a search party organized by John, evaluate Otavio and confirm he seems to be okay, but stress the urgency of taking him to the hospital due to a severe head wound.
