The next day was a ━ gloomy and a completely quiet day. They were so quiet you can barely hear them except for the insects being noisy early in the morning. Lily was so quiet and everyone was looking for some kind of clue on Quinn's death marks before she was buried yesterday.
"By the looks of it, she looks like was being dragged and scratches got on all over her bodies and someone slit her throats and stabbed her in the heart before she died" says Jess, exhausted after looking around and founding some of Quinn's torn clothe's pieces on the trees and bushes.
Kody was quiet all day, he sat on a big rock near the riverside and talks to himself while sighing, "How I wish you were still alive, it would be a happy day and we could've stargaze and see more of the forest"
Lily watches Kody from afar thinking that if she should go comfort him or try to find some clues as to why Quinn was killed yesterday.
She hesitates for a while.
"Just leave him alone, Lily" the voice came from behind her back and she jumped, scared and surprised. She turns around to see Robin, he was looking at her all day. "Let's go find some clues, heartbroken people should be left alone more. Come, follow me, I'm showing you a place which I just found" . She followed him into the forest, deeper...and deeper...
Alas, they were here, the place looks so majestic, the way the trees were hanging and their colors of night. "How did you found this place?" asks Lily.
"Oh! Uhm, I stumbled upon them and I think it will be better if I show it to you first" he said.
"Ok... We should go back now or the group's gonna be worried"
He hesitated, nodded and agreed although he doesn't look so happy now that he's dissapointed about it.
He looked back, then left the place after a few hesitations.
"Have you found any clues yet?" Lily asks the group.
"I found a few, here" she gives all of the stuff she discovered to Lily. She looked at them, then Lily spoked "Not enough, we need more, we need to know who killed Quinn" .
"We were all there Lily, can't you tell?" says Andrea, feeling annoyed.
"Even so, there is still something off, why did she stopped screaming when we arrived?" asks Robin "It could be a recording or... something"
The wind was blowing hard Lily can barely hear Robin's last words and next thing they knew, they heard a loud splash, it was Kody.
They hurried and went there to see Kody in the river, drowning. Jason appeared out of nowhere and went in to save him. Lily looked at Jason, suspicions on her face, something in Jason doesn't sit right. Where were he yesterday? How did she not noticed that Jason has been missing since the day they passed the warning sign? Where did he go?
Questions were all over her head, where were Jason? Where we he when Quinn died? How did he appeared out of nowhere just to save Kody now? Did he do something?
Lily was shocked to even speak. Robin looked at her, concerned. Almost everyone was shocked.
"Hey guys, how are you?" Jason turned around to talk to them, smiling.
Lily turned to Robin, she looked like she was going to burst to tears then Robin hugs her tight and asks "Where were you, Robin?" looking at him, feeling concerned, eyebrow raised.
"Oh well, uhm, I went to check some stuff in the car before I went in with you all through the sign" he looked away, "Where were you guys? I were looking for you all since yesterday"
"Didn't you hear Quinn screaming yesterday?" Andrea asked, rolling her eyes, so annoyed.
"No...?"
Lily looked at Jason in disbelief, turned away and started crying while hugging Robin.
Robin flushed but changed his expression after and asked again "Why leave us then? You could just found us from miles since we didnt went that far and why are you only here now?"
"I- I didn't mean to, I tried looking for you all but its so hard to find you all since we're in a forest-"
"No, you mean you did it on purpose, you just don't want to meddle in these stuff and ran away" Robin cutted him.
"What happened to Quinn?" confused, Jason asked.
"She died" Lily said, her eyes were red now.
"Sorry" Jason said, without any expression on his face.
Everyone went quiet, horror-struck except for Andrea she was too shocked to even speak. "You killed her did you?" Kody asked, trembling in fear, "thats why you left us and killed her secretly right?"
"I-I didn't kill her, Kody" Jason said
"YOU DID AND YOU ADMIT IT" Kody shouted, "WHERE WERE YOU THEN WHEN QUINN DIED?"
"I-"
"EVERYONE SHUT UP AND CALM DOWN" Jessica shouts, angrily.
Everyone quieted down, Lily hugged Robin tight, sobbing and says, looking at Jessica "W-We should *hic* go b-back to the t-tent *hic* Jess"
Jessica looked like she was about to disagree but changed her mind after seeing Lily's expression the nodded and looked at everyone, they agreed. Everyone went back to their own tent, about to sleep after a quiet lunch. Lily went to Robin's tent and sees Robin taking off his glasses.
"Can I stay with you tonight, Robin?" Lily asked "I'm scared that I'll be the next" her eyes were red and tired-looking
Robin hesitated, "Sure, just don't get too close, I might think you're my pillow" he smiled, a bit worried
"Ok" Lily was flustered. She lied down beside Robin. "Its another quiet day isn't it?" She turned to Robin.
"Yeah it is, quiet..." Robin said.
"Do you think Jason is the killer?"
"I don't know, Lily" Robin said "We don't have that much clue or proof to prove that Jason is the one behind this"
"Mm, ok then, let's go to sleep now" Lily said, changing the topic "Goodnight, Robin"
"Night"
