Getting to the dining room Leith only found his father Lance seated at the head of the table holding a glass of half filled wine. Looking up from his glass Lance looked at him and unlike his usual fake self he did not force out a smile at him and only nodded.“Leith your finally here I see.“ Lance spoke to him making him pause, usually his old man would never directly address him. Looking at him suspiciously Leith sat down “How was your day today Leith?“ Ok now Leith was sure that something was wrong first and foremost his father had never addresses him by name unless he has something extremely serious to tell him. Looking up Leith showed his distrust towards his father, the latter saw the look on his face and sighed standing up “Follow me.“ without even waiting for Leith he walked in the direction of his study. Having no choice Leith followed behind him wondering what this was all about. Digging out his memory Leith suddenly remembered this exact situation but forgot the contents of the conversation and only remembered that he was extremely upset after it. Arriving at the door of the study room his father opened the door for him, going in Leith stood infront of the table, his father got in and sat down while signaling him to also sit. Leith nodded and sat down. “How can I help father?“ Leith asked sounding polite. “I wanted to talk to you about your mother.“ He said his voice deadly serious, his eyes looked determined and showed no dishonesty. Leith inwardly smiled this was the father he knew the real him the not the one who kept showing fake gentleness and kindness to his family no, now he was the ruthless man who would not hesitate to kill a new born on the spot, the leader of the Donna mafia but alas eventually got killed by his wives mistakes. “What did mother do?“ He looked at me as if trying to see if I could handle his next words. “You may have seen both your mother's do not really care for you-” 'neither do you.' Leith thought he almost said it out loud but he showed deference instead after all Lance is still his father. “You already know your second mother does not share any sort of blood relationship with you and your siblings.“ Leith nodded at the obvious piece of information. “ Leith the truth is that Florance is not your mother.“ Originally Lance had expected the kid to throw a tentrum and not believe him, after all the kid was only ten and was still immature. He was shocked to see Leith look at him in a composed manner with a slight glint of realization in his green eyes. Unknown to him that's exactly what Leith did in his last life infact he had not believed him and directly walked out thinking of how low his father stooped in order to break his relationship with his mother and directly chose to forget what the man said, but now it's different and Leith started to seriously consider it. Not only did it make sense but it was beliveble after all what kind of mother can do what she did to him? “Then who is the women who gave birth to me? Why do I look so similar to Florance?“ His Lance looked nervous but then pulled himself together. “ Florance had a twin brother.“ Lance stopped speaking there and he seemed uncomfortable for a while. “What does her having a twin have to do with the person who gave birth to me?“ unfortunately for him Leith did not care how he felt and pushed him to continue. Lance sighed and stood up facing the wall for a couple of minutes before looking back at the ever poker faced Leith. Thinking about it that silver blue hair and emerald green eyes did remind him of his mother especially with how beautiful he looks. “I was young, curious and drunk that day, at that time things between me and Florence were not going well heck it was so bad that we had to send your two siblings to her parents…….. Naturally I filed for divorce with his sister although I still sent money to support our children and her, we even had our own house it wasn't big he didn't want that he felt that as long as we could all fit and have enough space the house would be more than ok. The hospital we went to had a doctor who had seen this before and it didn't seem like a new case just extremely rare one. Nine months passed and you decided you were ready to pop out or like he had said it ' the bun is ready for eating'. We were more than prepared for you, we had already picked your name, future schooling, friends you name it.
