Chapter 1 [pt 2]: A Companion

...I am Dyrroth the Demon Prince of the Demon Realm, and about to communicate with another human. Very broad shoulders and standing on 5'8 in height. He is clearly taller than me!! I am only 5'1 how can I match with this guy?! He seems to be a beast men clearly a lion I could tell with his long messy hair, tail and sharp eyes of a predator. I could kill him but I won't my sister will probably not like that and neither my brother Tyran. I am very sure. Though I am afraid inside I still have a calm expression not smiling as usual but my body was shaking like a rattle....

...He seems noticed and read my expression in the inside. Placing me down gently and pats my shoulder. He seems to be a great fellow how lucky I am. My face was easy to read that I don't need to speak to let someone know. I sulk a little and looked away for a moment before looking back and he seems to be a little surprised. " .. D-Did I scare you?.." He said as he seems to be worried. I nod and looked away for a little. " Sorry about that, I usually call every man a Punk. I hope you understand that.. Anyways are you new here? " Again I nodded this time I was calm and looking up to him. Even in my past life I am a small Prince too. How unfair the fate could be. It's being very literal by my own body structure. "Oh really!? Do you live alone? Where is your apartment? " With a sincere look I pointed out in the end of the hall. "I see so you do live alone, your apartment was one over there.. I am Nada! Nada Crieshier! What's yours? " He exclaimed with a bright smile. I actually don't want to talk but asking my name was a bit tempting to speak. I hesitated but manage to say my name. "... Dy- Dyrroth.." I said and picked me up and placed me on his shoulder laughing " AHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!! From now on You are my neighbor and My friend! "Oi oi oi wait hold on! Already?! Do beastmen made friends this way? He gesture his fist to me and I bump it with my fist. He seems to be happy now, earlier I could tell he was kinda lonely, looks like he lives alone too. I pointed at the end of the hall and get that I wanted to invite him in my new home. He placed me down and get my keys out. He seems to be looking around the other doors. I made my way to the big door and unlocks it. I couldn't push it I seems to have no energy since I haven't slept regularly. I tugs Nada's clothing, who was waiting patiently leaning in the wall; if he could open the door for me. He grabbed the doornub of the wrong door but couldn't I giggled a little and pointed at my apartment door. " Ah!? This is yours? So you are the one that lives here!? Man you must be a little lonely here huh.. " He said and pushed the door and we went inside. The place was very big what can I say, it's obvious that I will feel lonely. Nada looks around the place and seems to be fine with it like he have been in a place like this. I head to the Kitchen and I want to prepare a small lunch for myself and make an extra if he wanted to. All I know is Demon dishes and I loved them. But I made a preparation for this of course. I listed them down and turned them into a book 2 years ago of course without a help because they might get suspicious about me. I made a "Devil-dried fish bone" it's actually a fish that was burnt but very soft Inside it's perfect for hot soy sauce. While making the meal Nada called me and asked. " Oi! Dyrroth! You got a uniform from the Reignier academy?! " He asked and I nodded In response. " So we also have the same Academy! That's great then! AHAHAHAHA!" He laughs and pats my head and watched me make some meal he seems to be not amused about it and asks where I learn such a dish. I pointed out the book beside me. He made his way to the other side and looked at the title. " Demon Dishes?.. Is Delverious your favorite subject?.. "...

...Delverious is a subject that teaches all about demons. Through culture, Dishes, language, styles, history and Ruling. It's the most hard subject for humans and Beastmen. I just nodded with a soft smile. He was doubting the process of the meal....

...The meal was settled and I was happy about the outcome. It's been so long I haven't gone to eat it like.. thousands of years or since I died. Nada was still doubting the taste I could tell, he was checking the whole plate like a detective. " ... dip.. soy sauce.. " I said bluntly it's quite the sight that a beastmen will taste such a dish. I am pretty sure he knows that I know he is a prince from the eastern Kingdom. It was ruled by beastmen for thousands of years even I wasn't born in this world. He seems to like the devil-dried fish bone, I'm glad....

...Nada Crieshier, 3rd prince of the Eastern Kingdom ruled by Beastmen. I heard he turned back to be a candidate to the throne to live freely. Many people wanted him to be the King for he was very social. His brothers seems to like him to be the King too. Everyone knows his name and nicknamed as the " Unthroned King"....

...After the meal we head out and he showed me around the Capital. I didn't expect that the capital looks very different when I last saw it. The more i look around the more I learn about it. It's very pretty to be honest, Especially when you have someone beside you to look around. I have a low stamina and we need to stops when I pushed myself to walk further. He then carried me in his shoulders. I feel like a kid this way but I have no choice. He seems don't mind me being carried. Having a low stamina is such a pain especially when you are a buff average demon guy in your pass life. Well not literally an average demon (Prince). Nada then walked to the long and wide path surrounded by forest. As expected we went to the Academy I think he thought I haven't seen it. It's true that I had a glimpse of it but the more I look at it, it is beautiful I guess. He made his way to the Academy, walking in. I tapped his head and he looked at me, i gave a confused look. "Ah! It's fine we can have transfers to look around the Academy with a guide of other students of course!" . Well thats an ideal feature of the school I guess it's quite nice to look around before starting the classes....

...We made our way to the main Hall of the academy and some students are present inside looking at us. It's embarrassing and fun in the same time. Being carried around is quite a deal to me but being carried around as a noble and by a Prince of the other country, well you are in the right story. Nada seems to be fine with it. The more I less express my thoughts the more he understand me better. " Come on, man! don't be shy. It's alright besides I might carry you around the school when you start learning here! "He said interrupting my thoughts of getting embarrassed. I guess he is right since he is my first friend and knows that I have low stamina I guess thats a great deal to me. " By the way, have you checked what Grade Section are you in?" , "Hmn?.. " , "You haven't? Then let's go to the guidance office to get your Section then! " *With a bright smile he ran to the Hall and made his way to the Guidance office. As expected for him, the students doesn't mind if he ran to the halls and also make way for him. When we reached the guidance office, the officials let us to know the information. Once we have the Section, surprisingly I am in the highest Section of my Grade. Nada was in the same Section with me and he was very happy about it....

...A day has passed, the sun has set and we made ourselves back home. I walk on the way back since I don't want to sore his body, the whole day of carrying me. Once we reached the floor we have to seperate now*. " ... Good.. night.. " , "Goodnight!!! sleep well!! " He shouted from the distance and shuts the door. As for myself I pushed the door inwards effortlessly. Yes you have guessed it. I am pretending to be weak physically but it's true that I have a frail body. Because of that I can move easily or gracefully when turning or shifting, for I feel featherweight. Closing the door behind with a demon lock spell I made myself at ease and made my way to my bed. As I lay down the King size bed I recall the things I did today and made myself a friend. It's very new to me, everything really. I want a pet. Any pet will do....
