Chapter 13 Leaving Mountain Village

The old lady stroked Lora's hair over and over again with her withered hand. Her voice was gentle and gracious.

"Grandmother is too old to travel that far. During vacations, come back and visit me. You'll have relatives in North City and enjoy a good life. Don't worry about me."

However she tried, the old woman wouldn't leave the village, and Lora's eyes reddened. If she could, Lora really wanted to stay with her forever, But she must go to North City because she needed to find someone. Besides, there were too many regrets and confusion in her previous life.

She hugged the thin woman and spoke firmly.

"Mm, grandma, I'll come back and call you often. Grandma, take care, enjoy longevity, and keep me company."
