ch5 warning

back in the human kingdom the soldiers set off on their journey to the shadow forest, walking in an orderly manner.

the forest was quiet, too quiet. the soldiers were constantly on guard, but they were never attacked.

as the soldiers got deeper into the forest they could hear someone talking, as they were getting closer to the voice they suddenly stopped walking because the knight raised his hand, signaling them to stop and be quiet.

as the knight got closer he saw a couple hundred black armored knights and even more shadowy wolves, in front of the knights and wolves there was a podium with five knights on it.

there was a big difference between the knights below the podium and those above it, the knights above the podium were wearing intimidating armor, all with a different design and different colors, while the knights below the podium had the same black armor, only slightly separated by design and height.

the knight in the middle of the podium had no helmet on, showing his handsome face and long golden hair, what was visible of his body looked perfect, as if he was sculpted by a master artist, he was wearing a beautiful black and gold heavy looking armor.

to the right of the golden knight there was another knight with no helmet on, but in contrast to the golden knight this knight had an average face and completely black short hair, his black armor looked more like an assassin outfit while still being armor.

even further to the right was a mature girl with long green hair, she had a charming yet peaceful aura around her, the armor she wore looked like a black and green mage dress combined with light armor.

on the left side of the golden knight there was a black and red armored knight, the only thing that was visible from the person in the armor was their bright red hair sticking out of the helmet in a ponytail that reached to their waist.

finally on the far left side there was a young girl with medium length silver hair, she was wearing a black and silver priest robe with many strange symbols that constantly moved around like snakes.

the knights above the podium were giving a speech to the knights below the podium, the human knight could not hear what was being said, so he got closer.

crack!

the human knight stepped on a large stick, breaking it in half and making a little bit of noise.

after making so little noise all of the black knights suddenly looked in his direction interrupting the knights on the podium.

"who is there?" the golden knight said in a calm voice that seemed like it could charm anyone if he tried.

whoosh! as a red flare shot from the forest into the air the human knight came walking out of the forest with his sword in hand.

"looks like i cant hide."

as the golden knight waved his hand all of the black knights pulled their weapons from the shadows at their feet while the wolves showed their extremely sharp teeth and claws that look like they could rip through armor like paper.

when the black knights and shadow wolves were all ready the human soldiers appeared, prepared for combat.

the two sides stood there looking at each other until the human knight yelled his order.

"charge!"

with another wave of his hand the golden knight gave his order.

"do not let them pass!"

with that the battle started, swords, spears, axes, shields, arrows, fangs, claws and magic clashed against each other.

as the battle raged on the human knight saw that there were many more black knights and shadow wolves being taken down than human soldiers, but the black knights and shadow wolves never lost their morale, instead they became much more aggressive.

as the human knight cut a black knight he realized that there were no bodies of black knights or shadow wolves on the battlefield, instead a black mist spread over the area, the black mist constantly moved in the same direction.

and upon closer inspection the number of black knights or shadow wolves did not change, even when they were actively being cut down. feeling something is wrong the human knight looks at the place the black mist is gathering, there he saw new black knights crawling out of the mist and swiftly joining the battle.

with every new round of black knights and shadow wolves that appeared they became stronger and learned to adapt to the battle.

clap! clap! clap!

as the human knight was thinking the golden knight started to clap his hands.

"congatulations, looks like you figured it out."

as the golden knight said this all the black knights and shadow wolves suddenly walked backwards not caring about what was behind them, but they never bumped into each other or left the formation.

this greatly shocked the human army, most if them had been soldiers for a year or two, yet they could not even try what the black knights did with ease, even the human knight did not know what to think.

"fall back!" the human knight yelled not knowing why the black knights suddenly retreated.

boom!

as the human army returned to the forest where they started the battle, but now with only half of the original numbers, a large silver fireball hit the place where the battlefield was previously creating a massive crater in the forest.

"who was that!?" the human knight asked full of fear.

all the reactions from the human soldiers were the same, full of fear, some even taking some steps back.

"come out of hiding." the silver haired girl on the podium said coldly.

"that could have gone better." an injured person wearing blue robes appeared in the middle of the crater.

"sir mage!" upon seeing who the person was the knight realized something and swiftly saluted.

"are you alright?" the knight carefully asked.

"do i look alright?" the wounded mage said in a sarcastic tone.

"return to the castle immediately!" the golden knight suddenly yelled to the black knights and shadow wolves.

as if possessed every black knight suddenly knelt down and yelled "all hail the queen!" before getting up and walking towards the center of the forest in a strict formation, leaving the five colored knights behind.

"well then, you can leave now, however do remember that this forest belongs to our queen now, hopefully this battle against our new recruits was a good warning, goodbye." the golden knight waved and said before walking after the black knights and shadow wolves in the distance with the other four colored knights.

suddenly the golden knight stood still, said something to the others and then returned to the human army.
