Asterion Rosefinch

(This is mostly Asterion's POV)

A few weeks ago.....

I woke up finding the palace in chaos. An unknown monster appeared and killed my parents. I, The prince of that empire is the sole survivor.

Before my parents died, My father told me something weird.

"Father!" Asterion shouted.

"Run, To the Rosefinch empire. they'll take you in. That monster's purpose is you" The emperor exhaustedly said. He is covered in blood. The emperor pushed his son's back telling him to leave the empire as soon as possible.

I ran and ran and ended up in this forest. But bad luck seems to favor me.

high ranking Monsters appeared and attacked me. I was prepared to die but she came.

"Who are you?" Asterion asked.

'Why did you save me?' Asterion asked in his thoughts.

"Me? I'm Celeste" Celeste smiled.

Asterion was stunned.

'How could a person be this warm. How could a person smile like that?' Asterion asked himself.

Asterion stood up.

"Are you a spirit?" He asked as he noticed she wears a fox mask.

His mother used to tell him a story about a fox spirit wearing a fox mask.

"A spirit? Maybe?" Celeste chuckled.

"What kind of answer is that?" Asterion asked.

"Hehe" Celeste chuckled.

'Beautiful' Asterion thought. He was taken aback by his own thoughts.

Celeste held asterion's hands and dragged him into their house.

"Brother! Brother!" Celeste shouted excitedly.

"Celes- Te?" Chronos was taken aback to see a kid with Celeste.

"Did you...... Kidnap him?" Chronos was so shocked.

At that moment, Celeste striked chronos's head.

"Brother is an idiot! He is a homeless kid! hes lost!" Celeste shouted.

"Ughh.... I'm sorry" Chronos apologized and sighed.

"am I a bother?" Asterion asked.

Chronos stared at the somewhat adorable eyes.

"N-no" Chronos was overwhelmed by the cuteness.

"How old are you?" Asterion asked.

"I'm 100- Ah! I'm 25 years old" Chronos answered.

"I see. Old man, can I stay here for a while?" Asterion asked.

"Pfft! Wahahhahaha! old man!" Celeste laughed loudly as soon as she heard that.

Chronos was flustered. Being called an old man is justifiable but It is just too embarrassing.

"old man! old man! puwahahahahaha!" Celeste continued to laugh.

"Hey who are you to call me old man? you old woman! You're also a 100 year- I mean you're 17 years old" Chronos shouted. he doesn't know what he's saying.

asterion looked at chronos dumb speechless.

"She hasn't even come of age are you dumb?" Asterion asked.

Celeste can't hold it in anymore she laughed so hard that everyone within the forest heard it.

"How old are you by the way?" Chronos asked.

"I'm 15" Asterion answered. He looked away.

"Also, I'm not a kid" Asterion stated.

'Do I look like a kid?' Asterion thought to himself.

He looked at chronos and was taken aback by the very shocked expression of the two.

"A-are you sure?" Celeste asked trembling.

"What's wrong?" Asterion asked.

'Why are they so surprised?'

"You're so small...." Chronos muttered.
