Chapter 2 : Her Sudden Change

Azalea woke up early on the next day, she doesn't know why but she can feel that something had changed in her personality..

And her guessed was right when she look at herself in the mirror, she always had a smile on her face in her previous life because of her being sweet and kind..

But now, her reflection in the mirror showed her the exact opposite of her previous self, she looks matured with this stoic expression on her pretty face and she loves it..

"Young Madame, the breakfast is ready.." Vin, her Grandpa's most trusted assistant said after knocking..

She put her long wavy hair on a messy bun before opening her bedroom door, the stunned look on Vin's face made her smirk at him before leaving him there..

Vin still can't believe what he saw just now, the Old Master mentioned last night that there will be a sudden change into their Young Madame's personality but he didn't expect it to happen this fast..

Their sweet Young Madame looks more mature now with her expressionless face and the way she smirk even made his heart to skip a beat..

She looks so beautiful and seductive, Vin immediately covered his reddened face, looks like she finally breached his thick wall..

The old couple watched as their beloved Granddaughter strode on their way like a matured woman..

She's wearing a ripped jeans and a crop top that showed her flawlessly white and flat stomach, she also paired it with black boots..

She looks like a super model now that had been modeling for ages and her eyeglasses added more charisma onto it..

The old couple looked at each other and smiled knowingly, looks like their Granddaughter will stir up a lot of trouble soon with her new personality..

"Good morning Young Madame.." the servants greeted and she just nod at them with a small smile..

"Good morning Grandpa and Grandma.." she greeted and kissed them on their foreheads..

"How do you feel now my child?!" her Grandma ask with a smile..

"I feel good now, don't worry.." she said and a servant was about to put food on her plate when she grab it gently to stop her..

"I can do it on my own, you guys are dismissed, go back in the kitchen and have your breakfast.." she said with a smile that shocked all of them..

"But Young Madame.." the butler tried to reasoned with her but immediately stopped when she raised her hand..

"I want to serve my Grandparents today, no buts and just go.." she said with a sigh, she knew that she's blushing right..

The butler and the other servants all smiled when they heard it and saw her flushed face, it looks like their little Madame is all grown up now..

"Well then, we won't disturb you anymore.." the butler said respectfully and bowed a little before giving the servants the signal to leave..

Their Little Madame is starting to do her filial piety towards her Grandparents, they shouldn't hinder her from doing it..

"Now that everyone is gone, let's eat and I will serve your food.." she said happily that made the old couple to laugh heartily..

Vin just watched the three of them having a wonderful breakfast, he knows that their Young Madame will be gone soon..

They will surely let them have their happy moments alone while she's still here, he knows that the Old Master will be heartbroken once she left..

Azalea can't help but to think about her secrets in her previous life that she didn't use when she came back with her family..

She's too afraid that she will scare them off that's why she hid her identity from them, they all thought that she had nothing even her biological family's support that's why a lot of people bullied her in her previous life..

"Brother Vin, I only have one class and that would be in the afternoon.." she said while looking at her phone..

"Is that so, would you like me to turn around and go back to the mansion?!" he ask politely..

"Nope, I want you to bring me to this place.." she said and showed him the map on her phone..

Vin's eyes widen when he saw the name of the place where she wants to go to, not anyone can enter that place without an invitation even the Old Master..

"Don't ask, you'll know once we get there.." she said seriously and Vin just sigh before nodding his head..

It took them an hour drive before they arrived on the place, he doesn't know how their Young Madame get to know about this special place..

He opened the car door on her side and helped her to come out, she walk towards the entrance and he followed suit while groaning internally..

"Stop!! No one is allowed to get in without an invitation from the higher ups.." one of the security said and a few more came out from their hiding place..

Azalea sigh and pulled out her phone, she forgot to bring her identification card with her when she left the mansion..

"What do you want so early in the morning Empress?!" a cold voice ask after a few rings..

"Did you change the security personnel again?!" she ask impatiently..

"Yes why?! You have your own identification card so there's no problem.." the man said rolling his eyes..

"Well that's the problem though, I didn't bring my identification card with me, I just came here on a whim.." she said rolling her eyes..

The man on the other side immediately ended the call and run to the elevator, he will have a big problem once that girl lose her patience...

"Fucking Shion!? Did he just hanged up on me?!" she exclaimed dangerously that made the securities to flinch..

The way she exclaimed reminds them of the Empire's Cold Empress, they haven't met her before but base from what they heard, every words that came out from her mouth will sent chill to one's spine..

The leader of the new security was about to talk again when they suddenly heard the dinged sound of the elevator..

They were all shocked to see him but they immediately stood straight and saluted to the man..

"Lieutenant Colonel!!" they all greeted at the same time and Vin was so shocked when he recognized the man..

It's Shion Beimaster, one of the youngest high ranked officials on the military and this place is their main camp, where the other 9 youngest officials like him are staying..

"My dear Empress, sorry I was late.." Shion said breathing heavily, looks like he run just to get here in time..

But what he called her shocked them all especially Vin who's standing behind his Young Madame..

"Did you just hang up the phone on me?!" she ask coldly..

"I was too shock to know that you're here that's why I immediately hanged up and run to get you.." Shion explained smiling awkwardly..

"Tsk! let's go, I still have class in the afternoon.." she said and went in first..

The securities all saluted at her and no one dared to stop her again, who would want to stop the legendary Empress..

Vin just followed his Young Madame and didn't even dare to open his mouth, he can already guess that she's not just an ordinary young girl..

"Empress, you're finally back!!" the young people inside the office exclaimed happily as soon as they opened the door..

Vin was so shock beyond words when he recognized all of them, they are the youngest military officials..

Them calling his Young Madame Empress only means one thing and that is, she's one of them, coz there's only one person who owned the name Empress in this camp, the 5 star Lieutenant Colonel..

He can't believe it, his Young Madame had an even higher rank than her mother and she's just turning 19 tomorrow..

"I want you guys to investigate a few people for me and I need answers before my party tomorrow.." Azalea said and went on her chair in front of her computer and sat down..

She started typing on her keyboard and a few photos appeared on the huge screen, the group looked at the photos with a questioning look on their faces..

"Why would you like to investigate General Devon and his family?!" Reid ask that shocked Vin again..

"Coz I'll be living with them soon, probably.." she said that confused them more..

"Probably?!" Shion ask frowning..

"Well, it all depends on the outcome of the investigation.. If I like it, I'll live with them but If I don't then I'm not going.." she said with a lazy smile..

"Why would you live with them anyway?!" Hera ask and everyone gave her the same questioning look..

"Well, because they are my family.. As the only legitimate daughter, I should live with them right?!" she said that shocked them..

"WTF?! You're that abandoned daughter?!" Shion ask in utter shock..

"Are they out of their minds?! They abandoned a prodigy like you and adopted that creature?!" Hera exclaimed..

"Oh my gosh, I'm a fan of General Devon and you're saying now that you're that daughter they abandoned?! I've never thought that the one I'm idolizing is such an idiot.." Jaze exclaimed angrily..

"Now now, let's talk about this next time alright.. Let me just ask you, can you guys do it?!" she ask seriously..

"Of course Dear Empress!!" they all exclaimed at the same time and went back in front of their computers and start doing their jobs..

A lot of important files immediately appeared on the huge screen that made her smile, looks like she will get what she wants before she leave..
