Tony's Side

I woke up in the same room that me and M were in just now, but what happened to her. I didn't see her when I was looking around in the room, it was easy to tell but I was in some sort of denial. My head throbbed in pain, I put my hand on my head recalling what just happened, there was a guy and... I was frozen in fear all I could hear were the footsteps getting closer and closer. My heart beet had gotten faster and my hands got sweaty, then everything went silent as my head hit the ground. I couldn't hear anything I felt like I could finally breathe... it didn't feel like I had hit anything, it felt like I was floating.

Now... I have to think about where M is. This place has to have something, I walked over to the wall and slid my shaking hand across it. There has to be something, wait.. is this a different room... I started looking around and it did look different, now that the throb in my head settled down I could see clearly. The walls and the floor is now made of glass tiles, with a brown textured wood behind the glass and a dimly lit lamp in the corner.

I balled my hand up into a fist, before sending a burst of adrenaline into my arm leading up to my hand as I swung my fist at the wall. As my fist hit the wall, I was expecting it to break, but my as I made contact with the wall all the adrenaline and strength shot back up my arm and... AAAAAAAAAH!!! As I looked down my arm was broken, my skin still intact but my arm bent, not on a joint.

The reason I could send adrenaline to my arm is because I have powers. So does M, she has the ability to mind control, I have the power to control my internal structure. She hates using her abilities because that is why her mom hates her, she convinces herself that her dad left because she was a girl but it was because she had abilities. But having these special abilities is very rare, you are put into special classes that teach you how to control them. In this small town there are only very few and me and M are part of those few. I didn't think of it before but the reason that they captured us is because we are the Marked one's. The Marked one's is what normal people came up with many years ago, that is what they called us, it's another word for special. Nowadays we have to wear wrist bands to keep our power under control, the only time we get to have it off is when we are doing our abilities class or when we go home. I don't have mine on right now that is probably what the people that captured us are trying to monitor, our powers and how they can use us.

I don't think M thought about it yet, she must be flooding her thoughts. She is very smart, she just doesn't like thinking about her powers. "Well, well, well, look at the boy trying to think about where his sweet little girlfriend is." The mic person said, as a light blush rushed to my cheeks. The voice continued, "Oh and your arm... that doesn't look good." I had already started healing it but I'm weak so I am healing slower than normal. "So you can see me," I asked the voice, looking around the room. "Why yes, but you can't see me," the voice replied snarkily.

I was so scared for M, I want answers, I looked up at where the sound came from and yelled, "Where is she!" The voice started to say something, "I..." The voice paused for a second, "Oh my goodness I did not notice the time, I am so sorry, it is time for you to eat." All my emotions came bubbling up to the service, I burst into tears, "WHERE IS SHE!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "Someone is a little snippy today I see," the voice continued, "don't you want your food?" I need to eat something, "I DON'T WANT ANYTHING FROM YOU!" More tears were running down my face, "Oh I almost forgot to tell you Tony, the girl M, she died."

Everything stopped, my heart stopped at the news, my hope, whatever hope I had left in me dropped. I couldn't even cry, I wasn't mad, no, I was furious. "I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" I blurted out, the rage that I felt was unimaginable, and I mark by my words I will kill him and his whole organization. They will all meet their dooms.

I woke up a few days later in a new room, my vision had been impaired as I woke up. I blinked a few times and was shot from my peace to heart-wrenching reality. I noticed that my hands and feet were tied up, I rolled on the floor trying to get to the door. I heard M voice shouting my name, I thought I was imagining things, or I was going crazy. The voice kept calling my name, so I looked over at the bench that was in the room, my eyes opened wide, "M?!? The guy said you died, you're alive."

So that is what happened on my side. After I was in the room awhile a gas was pumped in the room. My vision went blurry and it felt like I was being stuck with needles all over. My heart stopped and I was in a room in my own head. I blacked out after all my thoughts cut through me, like my soul left my body. Everything went dark...
