As we were done with the work, We filled the cans with milk, and now we were ready to go. Lucy came out driving a small vehicle, I realized that she carries all the milk cans in this vehicle. Lucy and I loaded the cans into the vehicle, and I sat in the front beside my mom. This was such a new experience to me... looking at the sky which was now turning orange and feeling the cool breeze which had this fragrance which I had never encountered before, It was calming, and I really liked it. Lucy, "It's still a bit dark, I will take you to sightseeing after the sunrise. Our village is really beautiful, I will give you a tour! ". I replied, "I am excited!".

After travelling for quite some distance, we reached the dairy station. I could see people lining outside holding their respective milk cans. I helped Lucy unload the milk cans and instead of my mom I went to stand in line. After 10 minutes, my turn came. I could feel their stares at me, as if they were looking at a person whom they had never seen before. I handed the dairy card which Lucy had given me, the person in charge, "Oh! Do you know Lucy, aunty?. I was nervous, "Yes ", I replied. The person did not ask me anything further, He did all the procedure himself, I had to do nothing. I just stood there until he handed me all the empty cans and card which I had given earlier.

I came back to the place where we had parked the vehicle. Lucy was talking to some ladies, When she noticed me coming back. Lucy, "My daughter, come here. I need to introduce you to someone". Just hearing her shouting 'my daughter' I was already smiling like a fool while I went near her. Lucy, "Anna, she is my friend Vivi". I gave her a polite smile, "hello! I am Anna. Nice to meet you, aunty". I could see that the other person was shocked, her face was filled with so many questions, I could see her getting impatient. Vivi, "What! Daughter? Lucy, how come I did not even know about this". Lucy, "Yes, she is my Daughter. Look how similar we look. She takes after me". Vivi, "stop joking now. Tell me". Lucy, "She is my relative's daughter, I adopted her, and now she is mine". I was happy and relived that she did not reveal anything about me. My mom sure is protective and possessive of me, But I like it.

Vivi, "I can't believe you got a Daughter. She really is beautiful. Why don't you give her to me". Lucy all of a sudden held me in her arms, and said, "No... She is mine. Don't you dare touch her". Vivi couldn't help bur laugh at my mother. Vivi, "Anna, leave your mother, and come with me instead". I couldn't help but laugh at their behavior. I also held my mom in my arms, and said, "I am not going anywhere. I like my mom a lot". Lucy and Vivi both gave a loud laugh, looking at my childish behavior. Vivi, "Oh my! You really are your mother's daughter, It's confirmed". I could see my mother had a proud look on her face.

After quite a talk, We came back to home.
