Ji-woo POV

"Thank you for your time Alpha Hugo" I tried to hide my sadness as I walked to the front door. "I'm sorry for bothering yo-" I froze once my eyes cut a glance at a door I hadn't noticed before, hidden neatly under one of the staircases.

I walked to the door slowly. "You can't go back there." Ignoring Alpha Hugo's warning, I unlock the door opening it.

A train of scents hit my nostrils, but they weren't strong. They're all Omegas, since I couldn't smell their scents before. Yet one scent was so good and stronger than the others.

It smell like freshly picked Strawberries, rich and sweet. Making a huge source of heat run throughout my body.

Before Hugo could say anything, I ran down the stairs in search for my mate. All the Omegas bow their heads and looked down, submitting to the Alpha now present in the room. But one of them caugth my eyes.

A fragile looking boy with beautiful blond hair, in the middle of folding clothes on the floor. His head, down in submission so I couldn't see his face.. His clothes looked really dirty and old.

And even from where I stand, I can see the bruises and wounds on his pale looking skin.. Before I could take a step closer to get a better look at the boy, Hugo and Jimin come rushing down the stairs.

"I told you, you couldn't come down here!" Hugo said, clearly pissed off by my actions.

"What happened Ji-woo ? Did you find your mate ?" Jimin asked looking around the room with wide eyes.

Ignoring both of them, I point at the Omega that caught my attention. "That one. The one right there." I looked at Hugo. "Who is he?"

Hugo folds his arms over his chest, a mocking laugh leaving his lips loudly. "You're looking at the most worthless Omega in our Pack. His Omega father died giving birth to him and his Beta dad died a few years later when he was a pup. So he's been here ever since he was five year old."

I tried my best to keep my facial expression as normal as possible, even though I can feel my blood boiling. "Why does he have so many wounds and cuts?"

"He's our stress reliever. When we are angry or enraged, we take it out on him. It's the only thing he can't mess up. He can't do nothing right, it's the only thing he deserves anyway. " Hugo shot a look of disgust at the said Omega.

I'm no one to tell other Alphas how to run their Packs, but that's completely disgusting and bad behavior coming from a leader who should be an example for his Pack members.

I was about to give Hugo a piece of my mind, when the Omega looked up.. And his eyes finally meet mine.
