Chapter 4: It's not fun on bed with boys

"You can call me wifey. Alright, hubby? Tang Li shamelessly suggested.

Mo Yuhan's brow scrunched up but he didn't say a single word. Never in his life has he called anyone using such mushy and cheesy names.

She immediately noticed his expression as she couldn't help but laugh inwardly, teasing him was fun. She put on a serious expression "Uhhh. You don't like it? I have other options too." She paused to look at the man who was looking at her expectantly to hear other suggestions like a dying person waiting for his life jacket. With a soft sigh, she calmly said "Well, you can call baby, darling, honey, or sweetheart?

Assistant Liu choked on his saliva as he thought 'What honey? Whose baby? Our cold CEO doesn't know these foreign terms. They are not in his dictionary. It's already shocking how the most eligible bachelor got married. But dear Young Mistress, even I can't bring myself to hear President using such cheesy nicknames....'

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a cold yet somewhat soft voice. He glanced at the rearview mirror as his president pursed his lips and awkwardly said "Ho...Honey."

The secretary's eyes twitched as he accidentally stepped on the gas and the car started moving in a zig-zag manner until he stepped on the emergency breaks before the car came to a halt.

Due to sudden breaks, the car jerked forward, and before Tang Li could bump her head in the front seat. A pair of warm arms enveloped her in his embrace as her heart fluttered slightly.

Yes, when she heard the man call her honey, she realized that maybe this is his first time calling someone like this, yet she could feel her heart racing.

'He is adorable...' she exclaimed in her mind. But before she could take her thoughts further, the car became unstable on the road. And suddenly the man sitting beside her hugged her or you can say, he protected her. This made her heartbeat even more erratically.

Whereas, Mo Yuhan glared coldly at Liu Jiang "Do you not know how to drive?"

The atmosphere in the car warmed up instantly as Mo Yuhan's expression didn't change much but his cold aura immediately dissipated. He somehow felt contented with the fact that she considered him as someone close to her. But before he could say anything, a thought came to his mind and he voiced it out "Used to call you?"

Tang Li pursed her lips as she coldly said "She died in a car accident."

"I am sorry." he paused to look at the woman sitting beside him. The moonlight made her appear as if she was the existence of his dream who will disappear with a touch. With a slightly dazed look, he said "Kara"

His voice was husky yet clear. As he said her name, it sounded so sexy that Tang Li's heart skipped a beat. Both eyes looked into each other's as they moved closer until their lips were inches apart. But before they could kiss, a ring interrupted their sweet moment.

Tang Li averted her gaze and moved away from him. As for Mo Yuhan, he pursed his lips coldly as he looked at his phone. The instant he answered the call, a melodious voice rang inside the car. Mo Yuhan's phone was not on speaker but Tang Li could hear it since she was sitting quite close to him.

"How can you forget me? Do I not mean anything to you? What about the promises you made? Are all men such jerks?" said the person on the phone.

Hearing this, Tang Li's heart dropped. The first thought that came to her mind was that if she married a cheater.

For the first time, she felt something for a man, and she even impulsively married him with the thought that he is different. But maybe she was... wrong?

Thinking up to this point, her face turned cold. The secretary shivered at the sudden drop in temperature. He looked at the rearview mirror, horrified by the thought that Mo Yuhan was angry, but he was shocked to discover that it was not him this time. Her deathly glare sent chills down his spine.

'No wonder they got married right away, that too on the day they just met; they are on sync. My poor heart...Hehehe...Get a hold of yourself and drive. This has nothing to do with you, right? Right Right!!' he shuddered.

The woman on the other side of the phone continued her babbling. But Tang Li couldn't hear a single thing as her mind was filled with rage. Her gaze turned colder and colder as she looked into the distance like she belonged to another world.

Mo Yuhan around to look at her the instant he felt something amiss. His heart skipped a beat as he stared at the charmer in front of his eyes. She was bewitching him with all her expressions.

Anyone who will see her like this will shiver from fear but he was not just anyone.

But his amusement vanished the moment he understood the gravity of the situation. The feeling she gave was like she will disappear if he didn't hold her.

As if on his instinct, he held her hand in his as he squeezed it. She snapped out of her thoughts and turned around but her bloodshot eyes pierced something right through his heart.

Before he could say anything, the person on the other side of the phone spoke up again, "What? Where are you? How can you not reply to me?"

Tang Li immediately tried to distance herself from him but the moment she moved her hands, the man held it even tighter as he hugged her and addressed the woman, "Mom."

As if she came to a realization, Tang Li's cold aura disappeared like a figment of the imagination. Her eyes slowly turned normal.

Su Yahui shouted on the other side of the phone, "What mom? Who is your mom? Do I look like a mom? I am still a beautiful young lady who will soon divorce your father and enjoy her life. I will date, flirt, play, eat, and then repeat." She paused and added "And what son? I have decided to disown you. You are already 28, right? But you still don't have a girlfriend. I am seriously doubting your sexual preference. Son, trust me, I have heard it is not fun in bed with boys."

Mo Yuhan's eyes twitched as he remained silent. But a peal of sweet and cheery laughter was heard beside him. He turned to see the girl laughing and giggling and he was instantly mesmerized. She is beautiful, no matter what expression she puts on. His gaze turned soft as she spoke up "So cool! Your mom is so cool!"

Su Yahui was shocked to hear a woman's voice near her son, "Son, what are you hiding from me, your dearest mother? This pretty flower has not divorced your father yet as I think he is planning a surprise for me to apologize for our last fight which happened because he said I look chubby in a white dress. So, I am still your mother for now. Come on my darling baby boy, tell mom quickly who is the young lady with you?"

Tang Li froze, she completely forgot that his mom was still on the line when she burst out laughing. Now that she thought about it, she realized the problem she created.

'No man can introduce a girl to their parents when he knows nothing about her. What will he do? What excuse will he make?' she thought.

But to her surprise, the man didn't even flinch at the question as he hugged her slightly and said straightforwardly "I got married today and she is my wife."

"You...Are you telling the truth? You got me a daughter-in-law... Really? You are the best, baby boy, Mommy loves you the most. When are you bringing her to meet us?" Firstly, Su Yahui was shocked to know what her son said. But, the moment she recovered her senses, she immediately started squealing like a kid since she has always wished for another daughter.

Mo Yuhan was speechless at his mom's antics. This lady who scares people with a lift of a finger is now squealing and shouting like a teenager. No one will believe that this is the cold and ruthless Madam Mo that they are talking about. He sighed helplessly before answering her question, "When she will be ready for it."

Satisfied with the turn of events, Su Yahui hung up.
