2. Childhood Memories

"Ray I'll take a break and go for a vacation" I told my best friend who's standing in my office looking out counting the cars passed by.

"Finally you said something wise. You really need a break and I was telling you to take a break all these time." He turn around and gave me an accusing look.

"Yeah you are right. Now that everything is settled here I can finally take a breath. Then I'll trouble you with the Q group. "

"Of cause man you can count on me. I'll take care of everything while you are gone"

I Jade Frost was born as the only heir to Queen's group aka Q group which is an influential business group in ITC industry in A city. My parents were the current head of Frost family, a female Alpha- Omega pair. Over generations Frost family had Alphas as their heirs who picked Omegas from respected families as their mates. My parents were the same.

But unfortunately I was born as an exception I was the only Omega child born in to Frost family over decades. To sum it up my father was the only remaining member of Frost family bloodline. So naturally I had to become the heir to continue Frost family.

Now the world is so developed that humans have found out the secondary sex yet the discrimination hasn't stopped at any point. They may have reached to the top of evolution but still gender discrimination was everywhere in the world and it is mainly based on secondary sex.

The recent findings have discovered that there's a secondary sex beside Male-female primary sex as Alpha, Beta and Omega. Betas occupy biggest proportion of the general population being the most abundant sex. While Alphas are rare and born with natural talent who always naturally occupy the top of every sector. On the other hand Omegas, with high fertility rates and the ability to get pregnant despite being male or female, were the minority. Due to their unique ability of having high fertility rate compared to other sexes, others specially Alphas considered as breeding machines rather than fellow humans.

This was not always the case though. There are plenty of Alphas who treat their Omega preciously, who value their mates endlessly. However even among them, Omega holding a high position in society is not mostly accepted. Most of them believe that Omegas are precious beings with fragile bodies and minds who are not suitable for outside threats. Omegas are only suitable to being innocent and cute.

In one hand it might be true for Omegas are very sensitive creatures. However considering myself it is not the case. I who was the only heir of the Q group cannot succumb to those irrational beliefs. I have the responsibility of the future of many people including no of Alphas on my hand.

From my childhood I had to undertake the responsibilities of a heir. My parents knew it won't be easy for me to ultimate become the head of the family just because I was an Omega. So they tried to protect me specially my father, she was truly a remarkable woman. She stood firm against complaints and declared that actions speak more than words and my hard work and talents would definitely not fail the Q group.

My mother could not risk bearing another child due to her weak constitution. My father didn't want her mate to suffer either. So I was their only hope. Surprisingly enough I was gifted with a miraculous IQ and talent in IT which normally would be possessed by Alphas and not any Omega even dream of. Doctors said it was an mutation and my heat will be much more complicated compared to others due to this mutation. Somehow it was a blessing in disguise.

Bearing my parents wishes I sacrificed my childhood to achieve my goals, to stabilise our Frost family and one day to stand on the top. I never wanted to play house or to be spoiled like other Omegas. I never wasted my time on entertaining myself. I was strict on myself not like other kids I dedicated my whole life for my goals. I simply put my all to catch up. Catch up with so called Alphas.

My entire childhood and teenage years were spent learning. I learned not only subject knowledge like science, ICT, Languages but also martial arts, as well as other traditional subjects like cooking, sewing techniques which were special for Omegas too. I learned how to manage a company and other skills in business too. Simply necessity forced me to grow up as an all rounder, like any other heir of a large group. As I grew up older I found myself on the same line aa most of Alphas of my age and I was even better than some of them.

But I was not satisfied. I knew if something were to happen when I stand on the top of Q group one day, people would come after me. Even in Q group there were traditional people who thought Omegas can only pay house.

So I decided to counter attack. I wanted a force to avoid those future troubles. And that's why I decided to create Dark Knight. A personal army of elites to follow my commands. I was barely 16 at that time. Yet there were few Alphas who respected me. Specially my best friend from childhood Ray followed me because I always managed to beat him in every subject at school. Most of Alphas who followed me were amazed by my computer skills and admitted my hard work. They acknowledged me as someone who could lead them despite of being the weaker sex.

May be at that time they respected my hard work or may be they simply adored me since I was an Omega. However they were willing to be my personal bodyguard team or else that what Dark Knight seems to be for the outside world. On reality Dark Knight was a syndicate consist of people with extreme talents who could easily control city A. It was more like a secret underground intelligence force which controlled the A city's business world. Finally I achieved my victory. I was on the top of the business world in A city.

Well everything doesn't go on our way. I personally experienced it when my parents died in a car accident when I was barely 20 years old. It was truly a fatal blow to me. Although I was armed to face the business world and save the Q group, loosing my parents who were my biggest support I was devastated.

Executives of Q group start to voice their displeasure about an Omega inheriting the chairman position. But what can they do? Frost family hold more than 50% of Q group's shares. As the sole heir of Frost family I hold the power to call shots. Besides Dark Knight can affect the A city's economy with their power alone.

Life was always being harsh on me despite I being an Omega who was gentle and sensitive in nature. I was forced to be ruthless. So somehow or other I managed to depress all their displeasure and become the CEO of the Q group. Here I am at the top of my carrier achieving my dream.
