But of course, there's gonna be challenges up ahead, waiting for them in the dark, lurking in the bush, flying in the sky, and they are hungry.
A Dragon
They're always in the sky, hunting for their prey so that they can eat.
They have a strong attacks that leave the human with decapitated parts of their body, even when they just use their tails to hit you, it will leave you unconscious.
You're telling me " why are even saying this? This might be only inside of the portal."
Well, let's put it slowly. When the people kill monsters inside the portal, right? When they're killed there's gonna be one of it's kind to be spawn in a different area. BUT, if people don't kill this monsters, they will just spawn and spawn. Until, it was so full that the portal just randomly throw out one of the monsters, just like in the chapter 0. BUT, get this, if it's left in there without even human remotely close in it and even when it throws some of the monsters. The monsters spawning is faster than the portal is throwing them. So the portal just collapse, and it opens itself so that the monsters inside it can get out.
And we call it....
BREAKDOWN.
And coincidentally, our mc is near of the breakdown. Let just say that it will not turn good.
Some days have past. . .
While running
Ace pant, and pant... "Mr. Mito... Are we closer to the portal...?" he says, "It's miles ahead from here, let's speed up" Mito says to Ace...
Ace sighs... "I wanna take brea-" Suddenly...

...A Dragon is here......
Mito grabbed Ace in his hand, and start to run... No way he can risk fighting when there's a kid in his way...
"W... Wha..." He's getting his adrenaline in his blood, before he realized... A dragon is chasing them...

They're now targeted as the Dragon's food...

They run, and run... Panting, grunting... Mito is relaxed, but he knows that the kid will definitely get in his way if he tried and opposes the Dragon...
The Dragon flies very fast, but... Mito is faster...
Mito realized that Ace is dragging him, so he lifts him up, and start to run faster...
Ace is surprised, but in a good way of course... He never experienced to be carried around... But he's excited...
"M-Mr. Mito, I can run too. No need to drag me, Mr." is what Ace say to Mito, well Mito is surprised... "You can't joke around in this serious situation, Ace..." Mito calmly said...

Ace jumped out, and start to run... Mito is flabbergasted... He never realized that Ace's a fast runner, and he's catching up to him too...
And that's where he realized that he'd been dragging Ace around... Well, we can say that he underestimated the kid... He's astonished, and slightly proud that this random kid that he have just met in less than a month, can keep up with him...
"Well, I might say that you're quite fast, Ace..." He laughs proudly "But boy, you still have no stamina yet, so... I'll train you..."
...
"Train me...?" There's a silent, well... Other than the Dragon trying to catch up to them... And Ace laughs... "I'll wait for that, Mister"...
And with that, they act and have the feelings of being father and son...
