The Last Time

Shin's journey was quite a long one, never did he thought of giving up. And still continued until he reached the very top.

He's fellow comrades died one by one, but that didn't faze him.

The only goal he has in mind right now is to finish all the stages the tower has given him and return back to his family.

With that small hope, he still wished for everything to go back to how it was before.

While attempting to reach the top of the tower, he began to lose all his emotions.

But that only made him much more stronger than he was before.

He was the strongest, above all the human who has participated in this challenge.

In each level, the higher it is the stronger the prizes and hidden rewards would be given.

That made a few greedy human face death much earlier than the others.

"Welcome Haze, this is level 88"

"You have finished this stage, congratulations"

It continued on..

"Welcome Haze, this is level 98"

"You have finished this stage, congratulations"

"Welcome Haze, this is level 99."

"The Ice Dragon" System.

Shin continued to climb the tower even though he was the only one left.

He immediately entered the moment the portal opened, never did he hesitate nor felt any fear.

His bloody sword was the only thing that kept him company.

"Just a few more levels, i can finally rest." He said.

Or so he thought.

*Clank*

Shin dropped his sword and started to lose his strength, his knees collapsed.

"Is this the end?" He thought, as the ice shards slowly pierced through his stomach.

*Cough Cough*

He placed his hand on his mouth and blood started to come out.

"Is this the strength of a human?" the ice dragon asked.

"Be grateful young man, you are the very first human being who have reached this level." The dragon praised him.

Shin attempted to stand but failed to do so, the ice shards gave him quite a damage.

"This won't heal on time" He thought.

"Your death is near." The dragon said.

"I- i can f-finally rest" Shin replied while blood continued to spill.

"Such a waste but i must say, this was the most fun i had since i lived a thousand years." The dragon replied.

Even though they were bound to be enemies, the two had a small understanding. But, things still ended on how it's used to be.

"Haze blood percentage, 15%" the system added.

Shin's body lost it's strength and fell down the cold ground. His breathe became unsteady.

"It was fun while it lasted." He thought.

"Haze blood percentage, 8%" The system added.

His hands slowly lost it's sensation and his eye sight became more blurry.

"Even though i don't want to, i know that this is the time i'll die." He thought.

At that moment all the sound's around him stopped.

The last moment, he smiled and whispered.

"I'm going home"
