The bet

Third person's pov:

A smile was spread on a handsome male's face who was cooking dinner for his fiancee, any guesses........

Ok i will tell you all, it's our whipped boy Jungkook.

Today Jungkook invite Tae on dinner but he didn't wanted a big fancy dinner date. He wanted a cozi, sweet and homely date. And he wanted to cook for his fiancee by himself, he wanted Tae to eat his hand made meal.

So...he asked Jimin about Tae's favourite food. And now he was cooking his favourite food for him while sometime humming and sometimes smiling like a teenager. He was so excited. nobody can say that he was that cold nature and businesses minded Jungkook that they know of.

Jungkook gave a day off to the maids and Jimin was too out with yoongi. So... it's just him in the house. And he was waiting for his soon to be husband to fill his empty house. He wanted to spend some alone time with Tae.

The doorbell rang, he excitedly open the door. And there he was, his love dream, his hope for future life, his first and last love, his destiny changer....the love of his life..."Kim Taehyung". And looking ethereal as ever.

(Taehyung in italic and Jungkook in straight)

Taehyung had a frown on his face "i was buzzing the door bell for 10 minutes, where were you mr. Jeon ?"

"I was upstairs.... getting ready" Jungkook rub back of his neck in embarrassment.

"Oohhh looking handsome.... trying to impress someone..hmm" Tae teased.

"I can too ask you the same question babe...." he get closer to Tae and whispered in his ear "What are your trying to do...bany looking this beautiful...hmm..want to impress me..huh.." 😏



Tae bit his lower lip and said in low  seductive voice" I am always this beautiful Mr.Jeon and i don't have to impress you ...you are already very much impressed." He push Jungkook a little and went in. And Jungkook only smile at his fiancee's Sassiness.

They both entered the house and Tae was little shocked to see his surroundings.

The table was set....the light were dim and candle were lit...the delicious aroma of his favourite meal was in the air... everything was of his liking.

Tae turned to jungkook with a raised eyebrow " like i said.... trying to impress me.....huh.."

"No....no...i am not trying to impress you...." Tae frowned "I am trying to make you fall for me"

Tae huffed "In your dreams Mr. Jeon.... it will never happen...I will never fall for you.....but I don't want your hard work to go in vain so...i will have dinner with you and also because i am starving...ok....let get it.."

Jungkook smile and follow Taehyung to dinning table...

"Hmm....black bean noodles....kimchi fried rice...bulgogi....and my favourite japache you are over doing Mr. Jeon"

Jungkook smiled and shrugged.

Tae eat some kimchi fried rice and put his chopsticks down and panick a little " water...water......please give me some ..water.... it's ...so ..spicy..." His eyes has tears...he was huffing ...."i...can't..eat spicy food"

Jungkook panicked and gave him water which Taehyung gulped in one go...but yet he feels hot from spice...

"Did....you wanted to take some kind of revenge on me that you put that much spice in food.." his tone was angry.

Jungkook shook his head and try some kimchi himself to know if it's really that spicy..

"What are you saying Tae....why would I'll do that in purpose....I know this dish is little bit spicy but not that spicy"

"Look Jungkook...i didn't know...that you knew or not...but i have a very low tolerence for spices...i can't eat spicy food.."

"I swear to god Tae I didn't knew that....but ...yet i am sorry .. don't spoil your mood Tae...you don't have to eat this dish you can eat other dishes they are not spicy...please try it."

Tae nodded and eat some japache...and jungkook watch him with curious eyes .

"So....how's it....hmm...is it good...it's not spicy...right...hmmm..you like it.."

Tae chew his food "Yeah it's good ....it's not spicy ..i can eat that..."

"How's it's taste...is it of your liking...did you like the food and the dinner atmosphere"

"You are asking like....you cook this meal and did all that by yourself".

Jungkook looked at him with smile while biting his lower lip



Tae wide his eyes in realisation and shook his head " you really cook all this by yourself ?"

Jungkook smiled and nodded a little shyly.

"Hummp..it's good but what a pity its all for vain... listen Mr. Jeon..you should've done that for some one you had chance with....not for a person who didn't have one person interest in you"

Jungkook got sad and start eat his food.....sometime jungkook try to make conversation with Tae...tried to make him smile...and gave him compliments but it's all go in vain... because Tae just hummed or gave him a bitter reply.. Jungkook was getting sad by the minutes.

After dinner Taekook were walking in Jungkook's garden area.

"Mmm Tae...would you like to go to eat icecream I've heard you like strawberry icecream."

"Why are you doing this Mr. Jeon..." Jungkook looked at him confused.."I am saying it again and again....this is all going in vain...all your efforts is for nothing....I am not going to fall for you...i will never love you...why can't you unde..." But his eyes widen at what jungkook did.

Jungkook pinned him to a tree "That's what i wanna know....why are you saying it again and again...do you want me to make me believe or yourself..."

"Wh..what are...you saying...why would I do that...i am sure i will never love you".

Jungkook had enough "shhh...." He put his face on crook of his neck...and Tae's breath got hitched..."okay.....if you are that sure...let's make it interesting...shall we".

He inhaled his scent and raised his head up and stared in Tae's eyes with a dangerous expression.



Taehyung gulped and looked at him with his doe eyes.



"Wh...what...what do you mean"

"Hmmm....let's make a bet...."

"What...bet...?" Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows.

"Let's make it interesting ....we make a bet...if you don't fall for me .... Then i will do whatever you say and also i will cancel this wedding and apologies to you and your family infront of media and never again bother you." Tae stared at him blankly "but...."

"But ....what ?"

"But...if i'll win...and make you fall head over heels for me...you...will."

"I will....what ?"

Jungkook lean on his ears and whispered "you will yourself strip for me on our wedding night"

A shiver go through at Tae's spine....he looked at jungkook with a shocked expression."what!!!!!?"

Jungkook smirked "Now ....what happened ...soon to be Mr. Jeon..huh...you got scared ?.. hmmm" he nibbled at his earlobe Tae closed his eyes at the sensation.

Jungkook raised his head from Tae's crook and saw Tae's closed eyes and Jungkook smiled ..Tae open his eyes and looked at Jungkook's deep eyes.

"I ...am ..not scared ..why would I'll be scared...i know...nothing like that will happen ...i am thinking about you how will you react when you lose the bet .." Taehyung challenged.

Jungkook looked at him in amusement.."So...it's a deal then.."

"Yeah....it's a deal...if you lose ..you have to apologise infront of media .. and ..if i'll lose....." He gulped

"You have to strip for me on our wedding night 😏"

"That's not gonna happen....i will never fall for you"

"We will see.....soon to be Mr. Jeon"
