Episode 18

On stage, Peter's father offers his congratulations. "Well done, both of you. I’m eager to meet my grandchildren." Peter's mother interjects with a scoff, "Grandchildren? What joke is this?" Nick gives Peter a side-glance as they step down from the stage where they encounter Alejandro and his grandfather. "Dr. Nick Miller?" asks the elder. "Yes," Nick responds, recognizing his long-lost grandfather. "Grandpa Nicolas?" "My dear grandson, at last I've found you." His grandfather embraces Nick, overcome with emotion. Peter gestures, and they move to a table.

"My boy, do you know how long we've searched for you and your mother? What became of her pregnancy?" Nick reveals they had a daughter named Camil and shows a photo. "She bears a striking resemblance to your mother," observes the grandfather. "My mother remarried, and her new husband adopted us as his own. Camil knows nothing of this."

"I see. Tell me, you're studying medicine?" "Yes, I'm in my residency, specializing in surgery," Nick replies. "Good for you, son. To have my grandchildren reunited is wonderful," the grandfather beams. Alejandro chimes in, "I want you to know that I never agreed with our parents' decisions, and I want to be the older brother you never had and look after you," pointing at Peter.

"Hey, I'm the older one here, show some respect." They chat until Nadia approaches, glaring at Peter. "Do you know you've married a monster?" she sneers. "Not at all. I see the most handsome man in the world," Peter responds. "Well, you will see that him," she motions to Nick, "was cast out of the Black family for being a defective freak." The grandfather intervenes, "I won't allow you to speak of your brother that way." Undeterred, Nadia retorts, "You know I'm right. A man who can become pregnant?"

"Grandfather, stay calm. Don't upset yourself," says Nick. "And you, Nadia, go spread your venom elsewhere."

Fuming, Nadia storms off.

"Nick, I'm sorry for her obsession with Peter," Alejandro says apologetically. "It's fine, Alejandro. I hope we can be brothers," Nick replies graciously. Taking time with his grandfather, he shares photos of the children. "They're beautiful. I'm a proud great-grandfather."

The night moves on, and the following day, news outlets are abuzz with images of CEO Peter Sanders and Nick's wedding. Reactions of support and disapproval flood in.

At Peter's home, he wakes up holding Nick close. "Love, can you let go? We need to have breakfast." "I don't want to let go," Peter says, climbing atop Nick and showering him with kisses. "I have to return to my hometown for my residency and to see the kids." "Okay. When do you finish your residency?" asks Peter. "At the end of the year."

"When you're done, I want you all to move in with me," Peter proposes. "All right, but we'll decide as a family," Nick reminds him. After breakfast, Nick says farewell, with Peter planning a weekend visit with the grandfather to meet the children.

Upon Nick's return to town, he receives warm congratulations for his marriage. When the weekend arrives, Peter visits with the grandfather and Alejandro.

"You're so old!" "And you're our great-grandfather, and you, our uncle?" The children's endless questions delight the aged man and Alejandro, who cherish the chance to bond with Nick and his family.
