Nick calls his mother to let her know he will be spending a few days with Peter in the city; he also notifies the hospital.

Time flies, and Nick and Peter go out for walks, have meals together, and shop for gifts for their children.

They even purchase matching suits for the anniversary party.

"Would Dr. Nick Miller please come up, my love?" The guests are shocked, journalists snap photos, and Nick ascends to the stage. Peter signals, and the judge commences the wedding, to the chagrin of Peter's mother's face.

Nadia and her mother are also upset and angry, having speculated that Nadia would become Mrs. Sanders.

The judge concludes the ceremony, the couple sign the marriage certificate, and thereafter receive congratulations from all in attendance.
