Episode 11

That night, Peter couldn't sleep, his mind clouded with worries about how to keep his family safe from his enemies. Hidden behind the facade of a famous entrepreneur, he was actually the leader of a mafia group. The truth was, the tourist complex served as a front to launder mafia money.

Although having his family brought him joy, Peter was deeply troubled by the fear that something might happen to them.

The next morning, as everyone awoke, Nick found Peter still asleep and felt joy to be by his side. That day, they were planning to pack the children's belongings to move into Peter's house.

"Good morning, love," Peter greeted with a kiss on Nick's lips, "Let's head down for breakfast."

They got up and made their way to the dining room where everyone was already eating.

"Good morning, kids," Peter said cheerfully, returning their affectionate greetings.

"Daddy, have you thought about what we discussed regarding my sister?" one of the children asked. "Not yet, princess," Peter replied, "We'll think about it later."

This did not entirely satisfy Noah.

After breakfast, Nick busied himself with packing the children's and his own things. When everything was ready, they said goodbye to their family.

Upon arriving at Peter's house, they unloaded the luggage and brought the children's to their room and Nick's to the master bedroom.

While Nick was organizing the bedrooms, Peter played with the children in the backyard.

Nick watched them from the doorway, admiring the beautiful, happy scene—a dream now reality.

Noticing Nick on the threshold, Peter approached and gave him a tender kiss.

"Peter, we need to go shopping; your pantry is bare," Nick said. "Okay, let's go. Kids, we're heading to the supermarket," Peter announced, to which the children eagerly agreed.

They got into the car and drove off. Upon arrival, they started shopping amid curious stares from onlookers, which they ignored.

They bought plenty, indulging in some unnecessary treats that Peter wanted for his children.

Back home, they put away the groceries together as the children sat watching TV.

"Peter, are you sure about making us part of your life?" Nick asked anxiously. "Of course," Peter reassured him, "You all mean so much to me." Preempting any concern about gossip, Peter added, "Let them talk—I have the most handsome husband, and he's all mine."

They embraced and shared a passionate kiss, only to be brought back to reality by the sound of the children's giggles.

"You little rascals," Peter exclaimed, chasing after the children to tickle them.

Nick prepared a snack for everyone and they gathered in the garden.

The children continued their play while the two of them discussed various matters.

"How will you manage the business?" Nick inquired. "Well, for now, Francisco is handling things, and if there's an emergency, I will deal with it, even if it means traveling back and forth. I'll do it because I want to be with you," Peter explained, trying to reassure him. "I understand. I hope everything goes smoothly and there are no issues with your work," Nick responded, though still concerned.

Just then, Peter received a phone call. "Excuse me," he said, stepping inside the house. "What's going on, Francisco?" he answered in a tense voice. "Peter, there's been a problem with the shipment; we lost part of the contraband," reported Francisco. "Who was in charge?" asked Peter, annoyance clear in his voice. "Your cousin," came the reply. "That idiot! Of all times, now? Can you handle it?" Peter demanded, worry creeping into his voice. "I don't know," said Francisco, "I'll keep you posted."
