Episode 10

After a night of passion, they were wrapped in each other's arms in bed. "You know, Peter, you're the first person I've kissed and been intimate with since having the babies. Afterwards, it just seemed impossible; they always remind me of you." Peter kissed the top of Nick's head, feeling overwhelmed. "Having you and the kids in my life is the most incredible thing that's ever happened to me, Nick. My life makes sense now. Thank you, Nick, for making me your first and only."

They fell asleep in each other's arms and the next morning, Nick woke to find Peter gone. He showered, then wandered down to the kitchen to find Peter preparing breakfast, with the kids already munching on their food. Nick planted a kiss on each child's head. "Don't I get a kiss?" Peter teased. Flushing, Nick gave him a peck on the lips, prompting an "Ewww" from the children.

"Daddy?" both kids turned around. "We've been thinking, and if we're going to live together, we'll call Nick 'Daddy' and you 'Papa'," they decided, beaming at Peter. "That sounds perfect," Peter responded, as he set their breakfast on the counter. Suddenly, Camil spoke, "I want a sister." Peter hugged Nick from behind, resting his head on Nick's shoulder. "That's a conversation for us to have with Daddy," he said gently. "I just don't want to be the only girl," she stated seriously. "We'll think about it," Peter reassured her, before she dashed over to wrap him in a hug. "Thank you, Papa."

After breakfast, they got the kids ready for daycare. Peter dropped the kids off and took Nick to the hospital, parting with a passionate kiss.

"See you this evening," he said. "Okay, goodbye."

Peter left for the construction site to meet with the foreman, where they discussed and coordinated work until late afternoon when Peter received a call. "Hello?" "Peter, it's Nick. Can you pick up the kids today? I need to perform a surgery." "Of course, love. Shall I take them to my mother's?" "Yes, love. When are you moving in?" "This weekend." "Great."

Hanging up, Peter collected the children and took them to grandmother Miriam's home, where they were greeted with her warm smile. "My darlings! Will you stay for dinner, Peter?" "Thank you, ma'am. I'd love to."

Upon entering the home, Peter saw countless photos of the children from infancy, cherishing their tiny faces with a smile.

They enjoyed dinner together, and afterwards, Peter tucked the kids into bed. Descending the stairs, he assured Miriam, "It's a pleasure to be with them. I will take good care of them."

Meanwhile, at the hospital...

The surgery was grueling, lasting four hours, but the patient was stable. "Thank you for your assistance, Nick." "There's no need to thank me, Dr. Luis." "Have you ever considered pursuing surgery?" "Yes, somewhat. I'll discuss it with my partner." "It's good to have someone to lean on."

After work, Nick returned home to find Peter chatting with his mother and stepfather.

"We're off to bed, youngsters. Peter, feel free to stay over," said his mother.

"Tired?" asked Peter. "Yeah, a bit," replied Nick. "Come on, I'll give you a massage." They headed to Nick's room, and as Peter worked out the tension, Nick spoke up, "What would you think if I specialized in surgery?" "That's interesting. But the real question is, do you enjoy it?" "It's what I love most." "Then you should do it. I'll support you with the kids." "Thanks, Peter."
