"I understand and support you," she said gratefully.
"Francisco, I'll personally take charge of the tourist center project," he assured his friend, adding, "You handle the business here, after all." "Alright, and your parents?" his friend inquired. "We'll see about that later."
The next day at the company...
"Son, you need to set a date for your wedding," his mother pressed. "Mom, that won't be possible," he replied, much to her dismay. "Why not?" she demanded. "Jazmin and I have ended things, and I have a business trip to make," he explained, resolving the matter. "Son, this can't be happening," she protested, but he was firm. "It is, Mom. I have to go; there's a lot I need to do."
Peter departed, leaving his mother deeply upset about the broken engagement. She headed to the tea room, where she encountered two acquaintances.
Meanwhile, Peter's mother was in conversation with Nadia and her own mother. "Can you believe it? After three years, they call off the engagement," she said with a sign of disbelief. "That's unusual, but you know how young people are," responded Nadia's mother, sympathizing with her.
Nadia listened intently, thinking to herself that she might still have a chance.
Peter had arrived in town and settled into the house he'd bought, planning to live there with Nick and the children during the construction of the complex.
He made his way to the garden to fetch the children. Noah spotted him and bolted toward him excitedly, "Dad!!!" Everyone turned to see Peter, and just as Nick arrived, all eyes were on the two of them. "Peter, you didn't tell me you were coming?" Nick questioned, slightly startled. "I've just arrived," said Peter, as they brought the children with them and got into Peter's car under the watchful gaze of onlookers.
They reached the house and spent a day together as a family. "Nick, can we talk?" Peter asked. "Of course," Nick answered. "I want us to live together," Peter proposed. "Are you sure? The kids can be quite mischievous," Nick reminded him. "I want to get to know them and live with them; they are my children," Peter insisted. "Alright, we’ll discuss it together," agreed Nick, liking the idea. Peter approached and they shared a kiss.
Just then, little Peter walked in, making a face. They turned and laughed, "Your siblings?" Peter questioned. "They'll be here soon," smiled Nick. The children came in and sat on the sofa facing them. "We want to ask you something," Nick started. "Your opinion is important to us. Would you like it if we all lived together in this house?" The children beamed with joy, "Yes!!!" "Alright, I'll call mom so she won’t worry," Nick resolved and informed her they’d spend the night together.
They enjoyed a family dinner, it was lovely and fun, and then tucked the children into bed. For Peter, this newfound sense of family was a novel and welcome feeling.
After setting the little ones to bed, they proceeded to their bedroom. Peter took Nick's hand gently, drawing him closer for a warm kiss that traveled from his lips down to his neck. He slid his hand under Nick's shirt, caressing his back and drawing Nick's body closer. The kisses they shared were tentative as they moved slowly toward the bed, continuing their affectionate exchange and gradually removing their clothing. Peter took in the sight of Nick's body, noting the slight definition of his abdomen and a scar that intrigued him—it was evidence of the cesarean birth of the triplets. He kissed Nick's scar tenderly, working his way back up to Nick's lips, trailing kisses over his skin.
They immersed themselves in a world of kisses and caresses, their bodies resonating with each touch, with Nick feeling an overwhelming sense of warmth. Peter donned a condom and entered Nick carefully, finding the rhythm and sweetness in their connection. Their bodies lost themselves to the passion and desire they felt for each other.
