The doorbell rang. Jungkook smiled, already knowing who it was before he got to the door. When he pulled open his front door, he was met with Taehyung. The brown haired boy was smiling widely at him and waving a bit. Jungkook's heart fluttered. He smiled back.

"Hey, Tae," he greeted with a grin.

"Hi Jungkook! Sorry I'm a bit late, my friend wouldn't stop bothering me. Anyway, are you ready to go?" Taehyung said. Jungkook nodded. "Well, let's go then," Taehyung stepped to the side a bit to let Jungkook out. He led Jungkook to his car.

"So, where to?" Jungkook asked once they were in the car.

"Oh, just a small diner down the road. Nothing too fancy. Food's good though, and I'm pretty familiar with the staff," Taehyung informed. Jungkook nodded again.

"Sounds good," he commented. Taehyung smiled a small smile.

It didn't take them long to get to their destination. Taehyung opened the door to the restaurant for Jungkook, then walked inside himself. The place looked cozy. It wasn't too packed (to which Jungkook was grateful) and the atmosphere was casual. The sign said "SEAT YOURSELF :)" so Taehyung chose a booth in the corner of the restaurant. A waiter almost immediately came over to the table.

"Hello! Welcome to Love&Letter. I'm Seokmin and I'll be your server today. Nice to see you again Taehyung! And you brought a new friend! That's great," the waiter said with a smile. Taehyung nodded.

"This is Jungkook. He works with me as a model for Spectrum," Taehyung introduced Jungkook. The other model smiled and gave a shy wave.

"Oh! Well that sounds like lots of fun. It's nice to meet you, Jungkook," Seokmin smiled at the newcomer. "Now, could I get you boys something to drink?" Taehyung ordered a Coke and Jungkook ordered water. Taehyung teasingly called him boring after Seokmin had left the table. Jungkook reached over the table and smacked his shoulder.

After briefly looking at the menu, Jungkook decided on a burger and fries. Pretty basic. Taehyung wanted the same, as it was his usual order. Seokmin gladly took their orders with a bright smile on his face.

They made casual banter as they are their food. At some point, Jungkook noticed Taehyung taking his fries. He cocked an eyebrow.

"Why are you taking my fries?" he questioned. Taehyung took another fry.

"Because they taste good," he answered simply.

"But you have your own?" Jungkook phrased it as more of a question than a statement. Taehyung shrugged and popped another fry in his mouth. Jungkook gave up with a sigh and took one of Taehyung's fries.

They left the restaurant shortly after finishing their meals, as Taehyung observed that they should leave then if they wanted to catch the movie in time.

Walking into the mall where the movie theatre was, Jungkook asked, "So, what movie are we seeing?"

"A Basement In Queens. It's a new horror movie that's out," Taehyung answered, inwardly smirking. However, he did not get the reaction he was expecting.

"Oh! I love horror movies!" Jungkook smiled with excitement. "I've been wanting to see that movie, actually. I gotta say, I didn't think you'd be the horror movie type," he finished. Taehyung shrugged. He really wasn't the horror movie type, but he wouldn't tell Jungkook that. So what, it's not gonna be the cuddle fest he was planning, but they could still enjoy the movie together, no cuddling needed, right?

Taehyung was quite wrong.

They got into the theatre after buying a large popcorn and two sodas (Jungkook insisted on paying for the snacks since Taehyung had already bought dinner and the movie tickets). Jungkook chose seats in the middle of one of the back rows, informing Taehyung that it was the best seating choice. Jungkook was excited, and Taehyung was confident. He was confident that he wouldn't get scared and that he would enjoy this movie with his hopefully-soon-to-be-boyfriend.

The movie started and Taehyung and Jungkook settled into their seats. Taehyung could tell the movie was well made just from the first few minutes. This isn't so bad, he thought, about 20 minutes in. Then it began. Taehyung practically jumped into Jungkook's lap when the first jump scare happened, and clung to the younger man for dear life when the first few side characters were brutally murdered. When he looked back at Jungkook, he was trying to contain his laughter and was staring at Taehyung with a frustratingly amused expression. Taehyung huffed and plopped fully back into his own seat.

The rest of the movie went like that. Taehyung clinging to Jungkook and jumping every time something popped up on screen, Jungkook laughing at his reaction, and both of them occasionally stuffing their faces with popcorn.

Jungkook left the theatre feeling quite satisfied. The movie was great and Taehyung's reaction to everything was priceless. He made a mental note to watch more horror movies with him.

"That was embarrassing," Taehyung mumbled as they walked out. Jungkook laughed.

"Well, you're not wrong," he commented. He actually liked that Taehyung was clinging to him most o the time, but he decided to tease him anyway. Taehyung half-heartedly punched him in the shoulder. "Hey, hey, I'm just kidding," Jungkook said, still laughing.

Taehyung took Jungkook home. It was past 10 when they arrived at Jungkook's front door.

"Thank your for tonight, Tae. I had a lot of fun," Jungkook said sincerely. He dug around in his coat pocket for the keys.

"Anytime, Kookie. I had a lot of fun too," the other model replied, happiness evident on his face. Jungkook unlocked his door and stepped inside.

"Well, goodnight Taehyung, I guess," Jungkook said, smiling at the other.

"Goodnight Jungkook! Really, anytime you wanna hang out, just text or call, okay? Bye!" Taehyung said and waved as he walked away. Jungkook watched as he left, then closed the door when he was out of sight. He leaned back against the door and slid to the floor with a goofy grin on his face, thinking about his night with Taehyung.

God, that boy had him whipped.
