" You ate your mother! "

Raphael mother Jubleain died while giving birth to him so he had to hear this words every now and then . It was his birthday but he was not happy. How could he be? It was also his mother's death anniversary. He could hear nobles whispering how unfortunate he was. He was also a child. All he wanted was love and care. He really wanted to cry but could not. He had to maintain his dignity. His teacher always used to say to him, 'A man never cries. ' at a corner, he was barely holding his tears when suddenly a girl approached her. Her cheeks were rosy and chubby, like a cute little rabbit.

That day also while watching the fireworks, it was in his back pocket. He did not return it though.

With the passage of time, there love towards each other grew stronger and stronger and one day they decided to go for a vacation. Both of they stayed in an inn near the sea. Their vacation was a secret just like their love.

It was the first time they were supposed to share a single room but neither of them were anxious. They had decided not to get intimate before marriage a long time ago. But destiny played it's role. That night after having their meal, they found a sudden heat in their body. It was like a beast in a rut. When he looked into her eyes, he felt so infatuated. Even her smell was making him aroused.

" Something is strange. It feels so strange. ", she said in a low tone.

When their eyes met, it was a burst of emotions.

" Me too. It would be better if I sleep outside tonight. "

When he first pressed her bosom, he was shocked. ' How could they be so tender? '

He became greedy. Just grabbing them could not satisfy him. He opened the top part of her night gown. She looked at her with a half drowsy look, biting her lips out of embarrassment as she was laying on the bed. With every nibbling and sucking , she gave out a moan.

The thing which only supposed to be a kiss , eventually turned into having s#x. Both of them were in a half unconscious state as if they drank Cupid's aphrodisiac. He really became a beast as he broke a corner of the bed.

The next day when he woke up, she saw her sleeping in her arms *****. At that time he realised the seriousness of the matter. Serious because they did not use contraception.

She woke up late in the afternoon with red marks all over her body.

When two months later, Raphael found out that Iris was pregnant , he was not shocked. Rather he was nervous how to tell this to his father. But before he could say anything, he approached him.

" So you made her pregnant. "

His eyes became big in shock. " That.. "

He patted his shoulder. " What has happened, has happened. Bring her to meet me in the Rose mansion this Tuesday. Afterall, I need to see my daughter-in-law. "

Raphael hugged him as he heard it.

That night he cried tears of joy. It was like a dream like him. ' Finally it's happening. '

And just like that Tuesday came. Iris, Raphael, Louis, Duke de Oblio and his secretary Viscount de Chalmer was sitting on a couch

Before she could complete her sentence Duke said, " You do not have to say it. I know. You are Iris de Santania who is not even a proper noble.

" Father.. "

" Shut up Raphael. I did not raise you to see a day like a this. You were supposed to marry Princess Caina and here you did such a thing! You are a disgrace to Obelia duchy. "

With a sign of his hand Viscount closed the entrance.

Duke continued, " And I would not allow the outer world to mock on it's name. Knight Rutherford, come and take Iris. "

" Father", Raphael screamed but none of his screams reached his ears. He tried to protect Iris but could not as his brother who was far greater in strength than him, held him tight.

Duke then smirked. " Do you love her? "

"Yes father. "

" Then can you die for her? " 

He glanced at her and then with a smile said, " Yes. " Tears started falling down from his cheeks.

Duke whispered something in the Viscount's ears and then said, " Take this poison. If you die silently then I would not kill her. " After saying this he left.

His brother's hand was shaking while giving the poison. " Do you really want to do this? "

"I am sorry brother. "

Iris continuous screamed to stop but all her screams went in vain. She had to see her own lover die in her stead.

As he laid lifelessly, Louis started laughing loudly.

" Hah! This moron is finally dead. " He went towards Iris who was in a shock , dragged her by the hair and whispered in her ear, " Guess the aphrodisiac I sent that day was really good. "

She got goosebumps. " What? " She was taken aback.

" Father got to know about you two. Do you really think it was just a coincidence? "

She quickly pushed him and smudged her eyes with her hands. She sat beside Raphael's cold body and said, " He was your brother! "

" And also a competitor for inheritance."

Louis then took Raphael with him and ordered the knight to light the mansion with Iris alive.

She grabbed his legs and begged him to show mercy. " I want to give birth to this child."

But who would listen to her laments? She burnt alive that day. When the fire cooled down, she was still alive. Rutherford then cut her with his own hands and buried her under the chandelier.

Later it was told that Raphael died due to high fever while the missing case of Mademoiselle Iris just became a mystery.

They comitted sin. The sin of loving each other. And they had to pay the sins with their death.
