Episode 10

"Excuse me, Miss, Sir," said Disha as she set all the food down on the table.

Standing again, facing towards Rayden and Tamara who were on the bed. Tamara sat on the edge.

Disha bowed her head in respect.

"Hm, leave," commanded Tamara, while Rayden remained silent, submerged in his grim past.

The chubby cheeks and sharp nose vividly brought back memories of someone. A little girl from his past who was responsible for his current state.

Years ago, when he was about ten, Rayden had asked his parents to engage him to the daughter of the owner of this hospital, Medistra Hospital. But shortly after the arrangement, the girl disappeared without a trace, her family merely stating she had died in an accident. They even severed all ties between them.

Remembering the past made Rayden's chest feel tight. Years had passed, and he still hadn't found the girl.

Rayden still believed the girl was indeed alive, since her family concealed her burial site.

Too many mysteries made it impossible for Rayden to accept the news at face value.

Did he still believe Aresha was alive to this moment? But where?

Rayden gazed at the back of the disheveled woman, watching the bespectacled nurse leave his room.

If Aresha were here, she would surely be as tall by now.

Rayden smiled bitterly, his love for the little girl had always been too deep. Yet now he realized something – if Aresha was still out there, perhaps she'd forgotten him.

"Ray, don't you want to tell your family?" asked Tamara, a question that shattered all of Rayden's daydreams, as he immediately locked eyes with this beautiful woman.

"Tomorrow. Today, I just want to look at you."

Tamara pouted; Rayden always had a way of teasing her.

Tamara stayed for quite some time, not deciding to leave until the day turned to evening.

"Sam."

"Yes, Sir."

"Investigate all information about that bespectacled nurse."

"Right away, Sir," Sam responded obediently without question.

And from that day on, the doctors and female nurses of the hospital flocked to present flowers as a gesture of joy for the CEO's awakening.

Within a day, the room was filled with beautiful bouquets.

At the third check-up at 5 PM, Disha was even surprised to see so many flowers.

There were so many she couldn't count them. At this rate, she wouldn't be the third flower; perhaps Disha would be the hundredth.

Disha's surprised expression upon seeing the bouquets seemed rather amusing to Rayden.

The man just curled a smile, trying not to laugh too loud, knowing it would cause him pain.

That afternoon, Disha didn't come alone; she was accompanied by her friend, Dara, an anesthesia nurse from team five.

"Please allow me to introduce myself, Sir. My name is Dara," said Dara, since this was her first meeting with Rayden after the young master had regained consciousness, Dara introduced herself.

Dara was four years older than Disha, her face mature and beautiful.

Looking at her, one would never tire, but Rayden's gaze was fixed on the plain-looking girl.

"Who bathed my body while I was in a coma?" asked Rayden, a question that caused both women to narrow their eyes.
