The Crown Prince And The Nursemaid

In luxurious room, in front of the fireplace stood a boy who was just around 9 month old. However, while his peers were just taking their first steps, he was already standing stable on his little feet.

His walking wasn't the only thing particual about him. No, a lot of things were weird about him. Like the continues mumbling under his nose or the intelligent glint in his eyes.

However the weirdest thing wasn't about him, but about the strange drawing and writing that is incomprehensible by the people from this world. Which the boy wrote by a burnt stick that he got from the fire place.

As all of you already guessed the boy was Albert.

He was writing dawn his plans for the future to solidify his memorys. Since in both of his life he always dreamed about becoming a King, his head was full with theories, technologies, potential laws and so much more. So sometimes he had to write them down before he could forget them.

'Hmmm, it's getting really boring.'

Albert started to get bored out of his mind. Because he had two goals which he could do as a baby. And he already completed them, since his goals were talking and walking. Not much but at least it is something! Education is only starts when he is 5 years old. And he couldn't use his knowledge because who would listen to a 9 months old.

'Maybe I should ask mother to start the education earlier.'

*Huss*

The cold wind blew through the the gaps of the wooden shutters, flickering the candle light.

"Achooo!"

'It's getting cold lately.'

'I think it's already november, the winter is coming soon.'

"Young master you are going to catch cold!"

Told, a busty woman with short brown hair and green eyes. And put a big pelt on him.

'Winter clothing is crappy!'

Albert complained in his head but still thanked the good gesture.

"Thank you Bella!"

Said the boy while rubbing his nose into his handkerchief.

"Anything for the young master!"

Said Bella with a big proud smile.

'Sigh, she is like a little dog, getting proud because I complimented her...'

"But how many times do I have to tell you, that you should call me Al like my mother, when it just the two of us!"

Said Albert with a serious face.

"But young master, how could I do that?!"

"There is no but! From now on you have to call me Al and I will call you Bell!"

"Yes young mas- I mean Al!"

Said Bella after a brief moment of hesitation.

"Hmph, so much better... Bell!"

'How fast the time passes, I already know her for a 9 months.'

Bella originally was a random maid in the palace. But her second son was born when Albert was born and so she became the wet nurse of the baby price. And later, when the Queen was satisfied with her work, she got promoted and became Albert's nursemaid.

Since she is from a well off family the house hold tasks are handled by a servant.

'She is a little bit clumsy but she is loyal and had a good heart.'

"Btw how is August and Balthazar?"

August and Balthazar was Bella's two sons name. And since she is almost always with Arthur and she always talks about his two precious child. And sometimes she brings them to meet with him. So they grown on Albert too and he cared about them too.

"Oh, you can't believe what happened!"

Chirped Bella.

"Hmm, what happened?"

"Balthazar stood up on his own without assistance!"

Bella said so excitedly that one would think she had just won the Olympics.

"That's wonderful!"

Said Arthur with a little flat tone. But Bella still caught on.

"I know Al, that for you it isn't count as a great achievement. Since the highness is a genius!"

Hearing the praise of the woman, who he thought of as a second mother, Albert was a little proud. And felt a little embarrassed because he got proud after a little praise.

"Cough, cough."

He caught a little to hide his embarrassment.

"Young master is okay?!"

But Bella thought he got cold.

"I am okay. Thank you."

"That's good."

"...And how about August, he still wants to become a knight?"

He tryed to change the topic before Bella could get more worried about him

"Sigh... That child..."

Bella's cheerful face morphed into a worried look.

"He caught a bad cold!"

"What? How?"

Seeing the worried face of his nurse maid, Albert couldn't help but ask. Even though an illness is not uncommon in the middle ages.

"Sigh.. He wants to become a knight so badly that he is trained in the cold and his clothes weren't enough warm."

Hearing the determination of August he couldn't help but admire him even more. Even though he is just 7 years old he is already training harder then some adult.

"But why didn't he have a warm cloth? I thought you had enough."

Asked Albert since they should have enough warm clothes for the winter.

"Oh because, Balthazar was a little cold so August gave his to him."

'Hmm, that's true. The family got bigger.'

"Than do you want one pelt?"

"Thank you for your concern young master! But it's to expensive to me to accept!"

Said Bella while tears of appreciation were streaming out of her eyes.

"Yeah good pelts are so expensive!"

"Don't worry young master we are going to buy a cheaper woolen cloth!"

'Cheaper...woolen...warm...'

In Albert's head these three word started to repeat again and again. And flash backs of his last life started to appear slowly.

'Is the young master okay?'
