Chapter 1 the start of everything

2 years later.

At the train station.

" erm, finally back here after 2 years, well erm cuz, the aura seems so crisp here." I uttered as I stepped off the platform and into the station.

It had been a long and hard two years living on my own, but I had finally made it, I was a new person.

I wondered how people would react to finding out that this hunk was actually the pathetic failure whom they always picked on in those days.

"Home at last," I said as I opened the door.

I then looked down and saw the small girl from earlier, no, wa-.

"Is that your sister, I saw her with your mother at the train station earlier." I asked her.

"Oh yes, I heard you're going to be in 3rd year 3c at Jansir Advanced High starting tomorrow, isn't that right, Lulu?" She answered me.

"Yes Laila, I'm going there too, what grade are you in this year?" I asked her.

"Hm, I'm in third year." She shouted at me.

"Primary school." I asked her.

Then they both went inside.

"Lu, it's been a few hours and dinner smells delicious." Laila's mum greeted me.

"Thanks, it was Lila who made this amazing dish as usual, good evening, May." I greeted them.

"Good morning, Big Brother, Lu Mei missed you." Mei said as she jumped into my embrace.

"Pfft, sorry, do you want to eat, Lu ah show, but I'm feeding my family." Laila shouted rudely at me and told her family in an intimate way.

Then we sat at the table and started eating the soup Laila had made for us.

Well, the soup was so good, flavoured just right, even better than the last time I had it.

"Wait, Laila, why aren't you and your family eating the soup?" I asked her when I noticed that the three of them weren't eating the soup at all.

Don't tell me the hidden fragrances are actually what I think they are.

By the way, I forgot that her cooking was atrocious and people would even vomit after eating her cooking. Now that's what you call a tainted cook.

"No, she's actually out there somewhere alive, something about death wisdom she talked about, she is in the same class as us, remember she's a genius, but I don't know how safe she is where she stays so Mommy wants me to go see her," she explained to me.

Then she showed me a picture of her holding the bunny plushy I had given her two years ago.

The next day at school.

In the hallway, I ran into one of the boys who had bullied me in the past.
