“I told you to bring extra cash with you but you don’t listen, I told you that you might be short in cash but you still didn’t

listen.” I exclaimed.

‘Well, what’s the point in bringing extra cash when you will always be here with me sister?’ My brother exclaimed.

“Oh, wow you think I will be always be here huh.” He is ridiculous.

‘Okay calm down guys, why is it that you two always fight? I understand that some siblings always fight cause that’s how they bond. Astraea,

bestie you’re older you should just forgive your brother.’ Soleil said trying to calm us down.

“uhh, why is it always me? I’m the one who is right here.” I object.

‘I know bestie but he is your brother you need a lot of patience. Now c’mon we need to go catch the bus or we will be stuck here for the night.’

Uhhh we almost got stuck here in the city because of my brother who is so reckless, he just needs to buy his school supplies, that’s it but this idiot didn’t bring extra cash so I had to or should I say me and my bestie, Soleil had to go to come and get my brother cause apparently, he run out of cash to be able to ride a bus to go home. I was right that he might run out of cash but he didn’t listen, I am always right.

We got in the bus but the only seats that are available is two on the front and one in the back. Soleil and my brother, Casimir Mandane sat at the front row so I have no choice but to sit at the back. To bad the seat closest to the window is been occupied the only available seat is next to

it.

As I sat down, I was greeted with a familiar face.

‘Hey, I see we have met again.’ Sam greeted me with a smile.

“Oh, you again?” This is our 3rd time meeting and hopefully the last.

‘I guess destiny is being kind to me for letting me meet you again.’ He mumbled.

“What did you say?”

‘Nothing, I just said that between you and I, you look more of a stalker than I am.’

I don’t think that’s what he mumbled but…..

“How dare you? Me? Stalking you? In your dreams.” That is utterly ridiculous.

‘HAHAHAHA you are so quick-tempered.’ He laughed.

“What are you laughing at huh” what’s with him?" I always lose my temper when I’m with him.

‘Nothing, you’re cute especially when you lose your temper.’

I am at loss of words, I can feel my cheeks burning up, I don’t know if I should be annoyed or….or anything but either way this is the first time someone complimented me or did he really compliment me or he is just messing with me?

‘HAHAHA are you blushing?’

“ahh no I am not blushing it is just your imagination.” I said denying it.

‘hmm cute.’ He muttered to himself.

The conversation ended as we both succumbed to sleep.

The bus came to a stop by a station and I was woken up by a noise caused by the people who is getting off the bus.

I came back to my senses, and I noticed that I fell asleep in Sam’s shoulder.

Sam’s sleep has been also disturbed by the noise. As he opened his eyes the noise as well as the people around us seemed to disappear.

What caught my attention is his eyes, the way its shines under the moons light, the way his dark brown eyes reflect not just the stars but the whole universe.

Our eyes locked, and I…I felt peace….

A comfort I didn’t knew I needed until this moment.

But it didn’t last long as the minute of comfort broke and the noise that woke us up is back and the bus start moving again to go to the next station.

I look away as I feel my cheeks burning up again and confusion takes over me.

My heart beats fast, what is this feeling? Heart why are you beating fast?

I never felt this kind of feelings before.

‘Are you okay? You looked flustered.’ Sam asked.

Is he worried or something?

“oh, yeah I’m fine just thinking about something.”

‘If you’re thinking about your fight earlier with your brother just a piece of advice, be patient cause you’ll need a lot of patience to handle your brother and be more understanding.’

“First of all, I’m the one who is right between my

brother and I, second how do you know about our fight?” how there he accuses me of stalking if he is the one who is suspicious here.

‘I saw you two fought earlier.’ He said shrugging his shoulder.

‘You are too quick-tempered that’s one of the reasons you lose an argument you need to be patient.’

“Yeah, yeah whatever.” I refuse to accept other

people’s words.

I ignored him for the rest of the ride.

And thankfully we got home safely.

It’s already midnight so Soleil will be sleeping in our house for the night.

I showered and prepared myself to sleep.

But when I try to sleep all, I can see is his beautiful eyes.

I’m already tired and sleepy. So go away Sam!! Let me sleep stop entering my dream.
