Episode 7

Antonella turns her gaze back to the car window, watching the raindrops fall...

"Drop me off on Central Avenue..." Antonella said, knowing she had no other choice but to return home.

Roger presses his foot on the accelerator and drives towards the destination Antonella indicated, followed by the bodyguards' car.

Lost in her thoughts, Antonella remains silent throughout the entire journey. It had been a torturous night for her.

Roger tries to speak, but his mind is blocked, preventing any words from escaping. This is unusual for him, as he is an expert in seducing women, yet he often ends up breaking their hearts.

They arrive at the location Antonella specified. She takes off Roger's coat and opens the car door. Before stepping out, she gives him a grateful look. "Thank you."

Antonella is drenched by the rain. She takes her heels and purse, ready to exit the car. However, Roger grabs her arm.

"Could you tell me your name?" Roger asks, his gaze piercing, wanting to understand who this girl is and why she's suffering in this way.

Antonella simply lowers her gaze sorrowfully and removes Roger's hand from her arm. "My name doesn't matter... Just know that I'm grateful for your help."

After uttering those words, Antonella disembarks from the car, leaving Roger with the lingering uncertainty of who she truly is. He watches her walk away, her face still filled with sadness.

Disappointed, Roger accelerates the car and drives off. He doesn't like being left in doubt, especially when he's interested in someone.

Meanwhile, Antonella enters her house, finding her father sitting on a living room armchair, waiting for her. Zoraya stands by her mother's side, whispering something as they look out the window, observing Antonella stepping out of a man's car, unable to see his face.

"Well, well, look who finally shows up..." her father says rudely.

Seated next to Antonella's father, Rosario's indifferent gaze meets Antonella's as she sarcastically remarks, "Seems like you had a good time with that man, didn't you?"

"And after Harry left you for someone better, you went off to have a good time with someone else, right?" Zoraya adds, her arms crossed.

This was Antonella's fear: returning home only to hear negative voices unjustly accusing and reproaching her, unaware of what she is going through.

"Aren't you going to say anything? Will you just stand there like a fool?" Antonella's father asks angrily, stepping closer to her after getting up from the armchair.

"I have nothing to say," Antonella's voice sounds muted and barely audible. Her gaze remains fixed on the ground, lacking any assertiveness.

Antonella's father delivers a strong slap as soon as she speaks. Tears stream down her face as she rubs her cheek.

"You're an insolent spoiled brat! Just like your mother!" he exclaims.

"Don't talk about her like that!" Antonella raises her voice slightly when she hears her mother being mentioned again.

"Insolent!" Antonella's father slaps her once more on the same cheek.

"Do you really think she's worthy of your defense? She was nothing but an adulteress... And you're walking down the same path, sleeping with another man, aren't you?"

"That's not true! My mother was never an adulteress, it was you who betrayed her! You were seeing this woman before she passed away! And can't you see that she only cares about your money and status? She wants to steal what doesn't belong to her!"

Antonella once again loses control of her words due to the anger she feels in this moment; her father clenches his fist and assaults Antonella's beautiful face leaving a bruise on her cheek.

"I won't allow you to speak about Rosario in that manner!!! You are nobody here, just trash that nobody wants... And just so it hurts you, I've been seeing Rosario and what... Your mother was just a fool who put up with everything because she didn't want to lose me... But look now, she's dead and you were just a burden that remained... And to make you suffer more, I agreed for Zoraya to go out with Harry because she deserves him and is at his level, unlike you, you adulterous daughter..."
