Lara narrating...

I wake up early with the alarm clock, I do everything I have to do, and I leave my room, I drink a coffee and I mess around on my cell phone. Vitoria leaves her room already dressed and we go to work. At work, each one goes straight to her work sector, me to marketing and she to accounting.

"You arrived early today, it must be raining" Says the insufferable one, today I woke up impatient since I barely slept last night.

"I always arrive on time and the only time I was a little late was because I had to go to Mr. Bianchi's office. Do you by any chance have something against me or are you insufferable even with everyone?" I speak at once already impatient.

This woman is insufferable and I can't stand her anymore. She gets furious, but when she was about to open her mouth to speak, we hear a voice that sent shivers down my spine.

"Answer her, Mrs. Ricci, do you have something against her or is your arrogance with all my other employees too?" Enzo comes walking in our direction, his face was closed and his voice loaded with arrogance.

"S-Sir!?" She stammers.

"I hope this doesn't happen again here in my company, Mrs. Ricci, you are here like all of them, you are not bigger than anyone here. WHOEVER HAS ANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT MRS. RICCI FROM THIS EXACT MOMENT, IT CAN BE ANYTHING, I WANT YOU TO COME AND TALK DIRECTLY TO ME" Enzo says shouting for everyone in that department to hear. In a totally different voice, he continues speaking, now in a lower tone "Miss Sinclair, after lunch, come to my office, I have something to discuss with you" He leaves and everyone is silent and goes back to work.

The insufferable Pietra Ricci was left with a horrible face, but she didn't say a word to anyone, also after this embarrassment what would she do besides going back to work and leaving everyone alone?

At lunchtime, Vitoria and I went to a snack bar near the company and we talked, I told her about what happened at the company and about when Enzo showed up at the apartment at night.

She tells me that she is dating Bryan but it is nothing serious, they are just hooking up and that she is enjoying him a lot. We finished lunch and went back to the company and I went straight to Enzo's office.

When I left Lara at her place on the day of the party, I went back to my parents' house to see if Bryan was going to my apartment or if he was going to stay there, when I get there my mother says he went out with Vitoria so I go back to my car, when I was leaving Rachel appears.

"Enzo, can you take me home? I came with my parents and they already left and it's too late to order a taxi" She asks.

I didn't refuse, it was really late and it could be dangerous, she gets in the car and I was thinking about the kiss I gave Lara, I wanted to do so much more with her inside this car, I kept imagining things with her that leave me very "excited" to say the least.

"Are you listening to me, Enzo?" Rachel speaks snapping me out of my thoughts.

"What? I was thinking I wasn't paying attention" I answer her.

"I asked if you could stay with me at my house for a while, I need to talk, please" She says in a sad tone of voice, I feel sorry for her, so I decide to go talk to her.

Arriving at her house, we go to the living room and we talked a lot, spending the whole night talking about the problems she was facing at home, and we didn't even notice the time passing. When I see the time it was already morning and I decide to go to my apartment.

"Wow, time flew by, I think I'd better go" I say getting up.

"Can you take me somewhere first? I promise it will be quick" She asks.

She gets up and I say yes, she goes up to her room and gets ready. And we go to the car, we talked the whole way and she would see a friend of hers who lives in the same building as me.

She goes to her friend's and I go to my apartment, when I was about to open the door she appears and asks to put her cell phone on the charger so she can call her friend who wasn't answering her and I open the door, when we open we enter the room and come face to face with Lara, Vitoria, and Bryan.

I don't know why, but I felt really bad when Lara starts talking, I wasn't supposed to care about that but it seemed like she was really upset, either she's a really good actress or she is, in fact, liking me.

When she and Vitoria leave, Rachel goes straight to a socket in the room to put her cell phone to charge, but at the same time, Bryan grabs her cell phone and throws it outside my apartment.

"ARE YOU CRAZY, BRYAN!?" Rachel yells at Bryan and I'm still in shock, feeling like I screwed up, but I wasn't supposed to be feeling this way.

"GET OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW" Bryan yells at Rachel.

He grabs her by the arm and puts her outside and closes the apartment door, so I know I owe my brother an explanation for this, but I didn't want to talk now, I was feeling like an idiot.

"What's wrong with you? You spent all night and day with her? Are you crazy? After what she did, and you still had the guts to do this to Lara?" Bryan starts to scold me.

"It's none of your business, Bryan, and nothing happened between us" I say in a harsh tone to him, I hate it when he treats me like I'm an inconsequential child.

"It doesn't matter if you f*c%ed that b%&ch or not!!!! What do you think Lara will think after this?" He says and I'm done with this and I walk towards my room.

"Bryan, I'll deal with this, now I need a shower urgently. Go take care of your relationship, not mine" I say before going to the room.

I go into my room and take a shower and sit on the bed fiddling with my notebook, getting some things done. When I go to see the time it was already very late and I decide to go to Lara's house to explain things to her so she knows that there was no breach of contract.

Arriving at her apartment, she answers me and says some things that made me feel horrible, she slams the door in my face and that makes me very angry but I don't blame her.

I go back to my apartment and think about how sassy this girl is, how can she talk to me like that without even listening to me? I decide to try to sleep and I can't, I kept thinking about her all night. When I finally manage to sleep, my cell phone alarm rings and I get up with all the anger in the world.

I arrive at the company a little later than usual, at the entrance to the company a friend calls me and invites me to his birthday party on an island in Portugal, it will be a whole weekend and I confirm my presence.

I'm going to look for Lara to ask her to accompany me since she is my "girlfriend", when I'm arriving I hear Lara talking to Mrs. Ricci, some employees have already complained about her before, for supervising them, she thought she was something special, I end up taking out a little of my anger on her. I go to my office and have lunch there, I asked my secretary to call Bryan for me and she says he didn't come to work today.

Someone knocks on the door and I tell them to come in and it was Lara, I hadn't noticed but when she puts her hair in a bun it enhances her beautiful face even more.

"Good afternoon Mr. Bianchi" She arrives already calling me Mr. Bianchi and that makes me angry, I wanted her to call me Enzo, she could even call me honey if she wanted, but not Mr. Bianchi. I take a deep breath so I don't grab her here in my office, the urge to kiss her is huge.

"This weekend there's a friend's party to go to, can you come with me?" She looks at me, takes a while, but answers.

"Yes, Mr. Bianchi, it's part of the contract to accompany you to any event or trip you go to" she says, pausing and continuing "Is there anything else, sir?" She asks. I look into her eyes, which dart down.

"No, you can go" I say and soon she turns and leaves the room.

I call Bryan but he doesn't answer me, he must be mad at me about last night, he and the drama of a Cancer.
