Recap

Nancy rushed for her job interview. On her way , she saw an injured man so she stopped by and helped him reach the hospital. She paid his hospital bills as well As a result , she got late and had to ask a handsome rich guy for a lift. She had another awkward encounter with same guy at her work place. The identity of the injured man still remained a mystery.

CHAPTER 2

This was nothing new to Andrew who was quite used to his younger brother being in the headlines every other week. Allen was a spoilt brat who was used to getting everything he wanted in life. Being the youngest in the family , he was too pampered and protected.

Andrew : Any updates on Allen ?

James : He went to a bar with a girl last night. From there , they both went to a hotel.

Andrew : When will he grow up ? Every other week he brings up a juicy scandal to entertain the media.

Just then Allen entered Andrew's office looking frustrated.

Allen : Are you spying on me again ? Bro , tell your bodyguards to stop following me everywhere like creeps.

Andrew smacked Allen's head from the back slightly and started scolding him.

Andrew : What should I do then ? I have to take care of a careless little brother like you. Why don't you think about your reputation , Allen ? Every other week your picture is on the front page of the newspaper.

Allen ( scoffed ) : You have started nagging more than mom.

Andrew raised his eyebrows showing him the newspaper article.

Andrew : Who is this girl ? Would you care to explain ?

Allen : First of all , she is my spy. I had asked her to meet me for some information. I didn't realise that the paparazzi were following me.

Allen took out a pen drive and handed it to Andrew who looked confused at his gesture. Allen continued his talk seeing Andrew's confused reaction.

Allen : Secondly , cancel the deal with Randhawas. The pendrive contains the information which proves that they are involved in illegal shipping of products in the international market. Thirdly , I risked my high class reputation for this task but rather than being grateful , you scolded me.

Andrew and James laughed at his last statement.

James : Do you even have a reputation , Allen ? Since when ?

Allen ( glared ) : Why are you talking down to me , Mr James ? Don't forget that I am still your boss.

James ( bowed respectfully ) : You are my boss but it's not official yet. I was just joking , sir. Don't take my words seriously.

Andrew ( confused ) : How did you come to know about the Randhawas ?

Allen gave him a smug smirk.

Allen : I have my sources , bro.

Andrew ( smirked ) : Would you like to reveal your sources ?

James : Mister Allen , are you sure you don't want the Vice President position ? This job suites a prodigy like you.

Allen ( whined like a child ) : Being the Vice President is so boring. I just want to chill and have fun in life.

Claire : May I come in , Mister Oberoi ?

Andrew : Yes Claire.

Allen ( flirty ) : You look beautiful , baby girl.

Claire ( sarcastically ) : Thank you Allen bro.

Allen ( dramatically ) : Kill me !!! Punch me !!! Kick me !!! Just don't call me bro. It hurts my pride whenever a girl brozones me.

Andrew ( warned ) : Allen , stop flirting with Claire. She is my assistant and this is my workplace.

Allen kept quiet sensing the seriousness in Shivaye's tone.

Claire : I have handled the reporters Mister Andrew and the article has been put down. Also , Miss Nancy has accepted the job offer.

Andrew : Good !

Allen ( suddenly interested ) : Who is Nancy ? Is she beautiful ?

The trio rolled their eyes at Allen. Allen was intelligent but still quite immature.

James : Allen sir has intelligent and interesting brain cells but he rarely uses it at the right place and at the right time.

Claire : You are not wrong , Mister James.

Andrew : I agree to that.

LATER

Allen ( smirked ) : James , do a background check on Nancy and send me the information.

James : Okay sir.

AN HOUR LATER

James : Sir , I did a background check on Miss Nancy. Here are the reports.

James left a big brown envelope on Allen's desk and made his way back to Andrew's office. Allen opened the envelope and went through the papers.

Allen ( sighed ) : There is nothing interesting about her. There is not much background information as well. She has a friend called Jake….

Allen was about to throw the papers but suddenly he looked back at the papers again.

Allen : Jake ??!!!

5 MINUTES LATER

Allen ( shouted ) : Mister James !!!! Come back !!!

James hurriedly came over to see what was wrong , only to see Allen giving him a cheesy smile. James knew that something felt off about his smile.

Allen : I want you to find out about another person. Hehe !
