Oh my, a week to Christmas everyone is so excited so am I. school has finally closed "Yes!" no more studying jxt party, party party ............ "GEM! AM GOING TO THE MARKET OKAY I'LL BE BACK BY 6PM" an ageing woman said that's my my mom Mrs stone .

lemme give you a full introduction my name is Gemini Stones am the last born I have two elder brothers Libra and Collins , buh Collins other name is Scorpio he doesn't like using it thou ....... Libra is the oldest and is actually working and Collins is in his final year. During every Christmas holiday they both come back to spend the holiday with us and I don't make wishes buh this year I decided to make a great change by wishing for something, cool right? .

"I can't attend the school Christmas party I need to be with family"

" Buh Gem itz our first party since senior year". I was on a call with Kayla my Bestie,she wants us to attend the so called school party which is in possible for me......

"Oh please the last time we did that it was only us and the Dj"

"No! are u out of ur dirty mind..... fine I'll talk to your mom about...."

"Thanks Gem don't keep me waiting and say hi to Libra for me"

"Bla bla bla....... talk to u later" I ended the call standing up from my bed to leave my room when...... "****!" I jerked in shock

" you know leaving the door open and talking to your boyfrnd is risky" Collins said leaning on the wall......

"You almost gave me a heart attack"

"Don't worry you won't die just a few oxygen will bring u back" he replied smiling

"What do you want?" I asked

"Good question.... seems like you re getting smarter everyday" I rolled my eyes going to sit down on my bed cause if I keep standing Collins won't stop taking till am tired

"I need ur help "

"With what? don't tell me u spoilt mom's dryer " I said with questionable eyes

"No o not that.... Bella is coming over for dinner and I need u to tell mom she's your frnd" I burst into a srs laughter after he finished talking

"So sorry ( Still laughing ) I shuld pretend that someone I have never seen is my frnd ?"

"Yes" he replied

" Do u think mom is dumb?" I asked

"Maybe at that point"

"Really.......... "

"Listen Gem plz do it for me just this favour OK" he said trying to give me a puppy eye

"Stop that u look like a hungry Buffalo.... I will do it if u don't tease me"

"Done I won't tease you"

"OK then ( I stood up ) see you during dinner" I said walking away .

{ AT THE KITCHEN }

"welcome mom" I said standing beside the fridge

"Thanks Honey.... am glad you re here I want to ask you something"

"Okay am listening"

" Should I wear a baby pink or Royal blue dress for a dinner?"

" Dinner? mom when did you start caring for what to wear on our Family dinner" I asked confused at her question

"It's not for our dinner ....... I have a date a day after Christmas"

"Wow ( came close ) tell me about him" I kept this amazing smile that couldn't stop....... "He is just a friend nothing else" mom replied literally blushing

"Just a friend that lits up ur pink cheeks? ..... mom dere is more to it "

"Am being srs .... so which colour of dress is okay?". she stopped what she's doing looking at me ...... At this moment mom looked like a teenager to me the way she smile , I imagined her in different colour of dress and ended up saying

" Royal blue will look gorgeous on you trust me"

"Thanks buh don't tell the boys " immediately she said it they both came in as if they were standing there all this while.........

"Tell us wat?" they both asked in unison, mom and I looked at each other then the boys they both gave us questionable looks......

"Am pregnant" I blurted out without thinking

"What?" they all said so did mom

"Smart one Gem....." Collins said going to the table picking a banana

"What she's trying to say is ( Mom gave me a deadly look that kept my tongue paralyzed wen I was abt to interrupt ) we were planning of a dish to prepare for Christmas" mom replied

"So she ain't pregnant? " Collins asked dropping the banana pill on the table

" No Collins she's not " Libra replied standing beside me

"Well since there is nothing interesting going on in u guys life am gonna make mine interesting" Collins said about to live

"By getting a girl pregnant?" Libra asked as we all laughed apart from Collins

"Funny one Bra" walking away

"If I get u! u will regret seeing ur girlfriend on Bras" Libra said as Collins laughed away.
